Arrogance?
Wanting to know where you stand and if youve still got a job?

Arrogant for being imaptient and forcing the issue, it's not smart to push your employers, never was never will be. If you don't believe me try it out for yourself.

I do, all the time.
Theres nothing wrong with standing up for yourself and finding how the land lies. I constantly challenge my employer, so much so that I got a raise last month.

The longer it goes on I would have thought it's more likely he'll have to stand down. There's already rumours flying around that he's resigned. I won't be surprised if he does get another vote of confidence but it looks far less likely than it did a few weeks ago.

he hasnt resigned and he wasnt sacked, fsg will continue their review of the season but kenny has been told to scout players for next season.

How do you know this?

i just know  :p
the vultures have something to cling to though, although the club is going to continue on as normal for now the outcome of the season review was inconclusive, all parties just agreed to carry on the review process.......whatever that means.
until fsg release a statement either way the unhelpful speculation will continue.

Tony Barrett‏@TonyBarretTimes

Basically, as things stand, Dalglish has not been sacked and nor has he walked out.

anyway thers lots of stuff on twitter saying he has gone and is no longer the manager.
Tony is one of the few that get the info from first hand so for now it might just be worth keeping an eye on what he puts on twitter.

You should stop reading twitter as its full of nonsense and baseless rumours. Just wait for the official announcement that i'm sure will come soon enough once the meeting is over.

With all the rumours around, and the kind of season we have had i'd be amazed if there wasnt an official announcement about the season review and what they intend to do to get liverpool moving forward. (Special hint for you: no it doesnt mean that I think Kenny will be sacked).

I just don't see why the club has to make an announcement to please a bunch of gossip mongerers ?!

4 weeks ago they said they were extremly happy with Kenny.

If that changes they will let us know.

Getting sick of media swallowing ***** spreading ***** and then fans actually believing it.

i dont think kenny got a ringing endorsement from the owners in the meeting, the only thing that was agreed on was to continue the review process.

i want kenny to stay as much as anyone but you`d have to be off your head to not realise that he is hanging on to his job by a thread.
his name is probably keeping him in the job at the moment, the owners are probably aware that most fans are prepared to give kenny more time and they know that getting rid of him will be unpopular amongst the core support.
the owners know it would be popular with the vultures and whoppers in the fanbase but those whoppers and vultures could be saying `why did we get rid of kenny? he was just turning things around` in november if the next manager starts badly.

even tonights echo is saying after the meeting his future is still uncertain, when the echo says that it usually means the manager is up the road.

Tony Barrett is a decent journalist who is rarely negative about the club or the manager but does he have any more first hand information than anyone else? Why did Ballague state on twitter on saturday that the owners had already decided to retain Kenny before the Swansea game if Kenny was going to Boston to discuss the future if the future meant his own future? Why did Mark Lawrenson say on Five live tonight that maybe Kenny had a discussion with the owners where they asked him if he wanted to continue in a different role at the club and stop managing? After the Newcastle game Mark Lawrenson said that the owners wouldn't make any knee jerk decisions?

This isn't just twitter, facebook or tabloid speculation. If there was any doubt at all that Kenny was definitely going to be manager next season would any of these people be saying any of this? I still think he'll survive but I think the decisions he makes in the summer and how the results go in the first two/three months of next season will determine his future.

I think and hope that the Boston meeting was just that.

A chance to discuss the season, what they were happy with and what they all feel needs improving.
How they will go about improving it, potential finances, potential movement regarding staff at the club etc etc.

I dont think its a bad thing for that to happen so close to the end of the season before everyone has their holiday.

If he isnt here next season i will be gutted.
Yeah i've scratched my head at times and disagreed with things he has done but we won a cup, almost won another and i honestly dont think the league position reflects the performance that we have put in this season.

Like most have said changing manager every season is not a recipe for success, winning a trophy first season, bringing europe back albeit the europa league, should be seen as progress and the start of our recovery as far as i'm concerned.
