err....f*****g hell lad wether you want him to be manager or not dalglish is up there with shankly in terms of being a historic figure at the club, he was there through our greatest times and guided us through our worst times, he deserves better than that last sentence.
if you dont think he can lead us back to the top then fine, but at least give him the respect he deserves.

Some supporters never wanted Rafa sacked in the first place, I was one of those supporters. We have gotten rid of a class act of a manager and then brought in two managers who cannot handle the pressures of the job and who just aren't in my opinion good enough to manage the club.

I want KK to stay (becos i think he is an awesome motivator compared to our last 2 managers)...but he really needs to get a tactically astute  assistant manager. This season whenever thinks doesn't go right on the pitch..there is no plan b. The players keep doing whatever they were briefed before the match...and the use of substitutions have been mediorce.

I don't think steve clarke has it to complement KK tactically.

kenny has made mistakes but how many cheap goals has reina let in this season? does the manager take the blame for that? how many sitters have the forwards missed? does the manager take the blame for that? was it his fault lucas missed practically the whole season or that suarez was banned for practically a quarter of the season? we have beaten man united, man city, chelsea twice, arsenal, newcastle and everton 3 times this season and we have got to the final of both domestic cup competitions, it`s been poor but not a total wash out.
he deserves more time imo.

At the end of the day, Kenny is directly and indirectly at fault for a lot of things wrong with the club. Last season he found the winning formula, he then became full-time manager and embarked on a large spending spree of around £50m+, where he brought in a couple of good signings and three notable poor signings in Adam, Downing and Henderson. These signings have unwittingly made us a worse side this season than last season. Kenny has missed a golden opportunity, in fact he has missed two because he could have strengthened in January or made some changes and chose not to do so. We've been rudderless all season, directionless all season, we have been poor all season and Kenny hasn't done anything to change this. Is he at fault for what I have mentioned? Yes! You can pass the buck, you can say he's a legend and put 'YNWA' at the end of your posts, but Kenny is the main reason we've done poorly this season and if Kenny wasn't Kenny and was a man named Roy, 99.9% of Liverpool supporters would be calling for his head. Kenny is surviving scathing criticism because of who he is, not what he's done and that's fundamentally wrong.

people are giving him time because he has proven himself as a manager, he was a minute away from winning 4 titles in 5 years and that was when the likes of alex ferguson was at united, brian clough was at forest, howard kendall was at everton and terry venables was at spurs.
dalglish`s late 80`s team probably played the most exciting football ever seen in england, certainly tom finney thought so.
he won the double back in the days when they occured twice a century and got us to 3 F.A cup finals and a league cup final in those 5 years too, infact he`s the only liverpool manager to win all the domestic trophies.
yes he`s made mistakes but he`s also led us to the final of both domestic cup competitions, to sack a manager after getting to the league cup final and the F.A cup final would be incredibly harsh even if it was roy hodgson who has won f**k all in this country never mind someone who has won what dalglish has won.

I can see nothing wrong with his statement. Stop being disrespectful to him. I'll tell you lakes, no way man would you or any other of the loonies in here accept poo like this season if it wasn't a certain name on the blackboard. No oe is exempt from being evaluated and fulfilling LFC expectations.


I wont let you and Kenny kill this club. This club is larger than Kenny and any other individual employee out ther ever to take on the shirt or manegerial post.

With all due respect this one of the problems with this club. We live in our history and refuse to adapt and changes with the times and it's this backwards thinking that has seen us lose our top spot as clubs have adapted with the times and are reaping the rewards from it.

I'll always be in awe of this clubs traditions, its customs and its history, but I refuse to live in the past, I'd much rather focus on the present and look to the future. What Kenny did 25 years ago doesn't relieve him of criticism for his present failings, for which there has been many this season! This club at the moment is slipping season by season, irrespective of our cup form. It's fantastic getting to two cup finals in one season after spending so long without a final appearance in anything, the Carling Cup final and the FA Cup final (though we lost) was exciting, this is the platform in which every Liverpool fan wants to see us on. However our league form and our form since the turn of the new year has been unacceptable, if this was happening at Chelsea, Man City or United then the manager would be pretty much out the door, these clubs aren't prepared to settle for second best and neither should we. Kenny in my eyes just isn't the right manager for the job, the fact that last season he had a winning formula, come the summer he alters that forumla to rubber stamp his mark on the club and as a result we end up in a worse position this year than we did last year says everything! We can give Kenny another season, the season after that, but I just do not have confidence in his ability to manage our team. He's not the right man to lead our club forwards and I fear with him in charge things are only going to get worse.

It's not my intention to 'wind anybody up' and if people are wound up by my posts then I'm sorry, but that's not my problem. I'm simply sharing my opinion! I have praised where Kenny has excelled and I have constructively criticised him when he has got things wrong, unfortunately he's gotten so much wrong this season and so little right! If next season he's still our manager and he gets things right then I will praise him and say "you know I was wrong about Kenny", but at this moment I've just lost confidence in him and I am not going to lie and say otherwise. I call things as I see them and I don't believe I should be punished for doing so!

sunshine, you shouldn't be "punished" - you should be beaten to within an inch of your sad existence and then stoned with balls of yer own shyte.... In my opinion, of course
