Kenny Departs

The Rafa rant, IMHO, was a very clever tactic to take the media attention off of Steven Gerrard after he battered that bloke in the bar.

I know nothing of the drinking comment so wasn't referring to that. But I just don't like the fact that some people will dismiss fans because they didn't happen to be born within a x mile radius of Liverpool. Fact is is the only fans that supported a top flight club were from that area the club probably wouldn't make enough money to bring in top players like Suarez, Torres, Alonso and all the other great players we have been blessed with down the years.

The Rafa comment wasn't directed at your personally but more at the wider party here who seem intent on rubbishing anyone who has the slightest amount of criticism for Kenny. No offense intended.

Are we really talking about Rafa coming back?
The person who won the CL but failed to win the PL?
The person who brought in Alonso but tried to replace him with Gareth Barry?
The person who made LFC a force in europe but brought treble winning Inter to its knees?
The person who was had one of the sharpest minds but ended up losing the plot?
The person who was cool and dignified but danced like a tw@t onstage in One night in Istanbul?
Really?
???

i think the fact that Rafa is finding it very hard to get another job says a lot about what the football world think of him.
the fear of taking him on as he asks for all the power.

I think it's more he is waiting it out for another chance with us mate. Any team would be lucky to have him. And if someone was going over Kenny's head with transfers ect people would be crying out for him to have control too. At the time we had just won the CL and we were trying to build a team to compete at home so I don't recall anyone here speaking out against his requests for control.

Rumour has it that he's turned down a lot... he wants a job that he believes in instead of being a journeyman like Hodgy.

I happened to mention Reg was born in bred in Liverpool Bav ,I don't profess to being a better fan because of my close proximity to the
club mate .I just meant if anyone should find the media driven numptie's that are only to willing for this club to evolve into another
Chelsea ,then it should be Reg who was raised with the same principals as most Liverpool supporters who still find patience and
faith two glowing traits to retain .

Anyway,no offence taken Bav you were (and still remain ) one of Benitez's biggest advocates ....kudos to you mate for retaining those
beliefs .... I think Dalglish will strive to reach the same levels Rafa took us to mate  ,he certainly wont walk away and admit defeat ,the man
has to much about him to do that .

Ive no doubt he has, then again people like Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce and Mark Hughes keep getting asked to manage teams
I am honestly fearful that people will atually canvass for Rafa to come back and there will be (yet) another split in the fanbase
:(

Do you think Rafa would accept a similar role to Comolli and guide Kenny's hand when it comes to transfers ?

I don't see much canvassing for a Rafa return.....and we certainly don't want the fanbase split, now we are all collectively behind King Kenny !

Wow... I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how much biased disrespect Rafa gets on here, our best manager since Kenny's first stint, and especially by those who are lambasting other fans for not getting behind the manager. There is no need whatsoever to be spreading negative and false propanganda like there is no team who wants to appoint rafa...  makes me want to laugh... It can't be anything other than a wind up if you think of it... he won us the CL and FA cup in his first 2 seasons, put us on the map again in europe, and tried as much as he could during one of the most trying times the club has seen in recent times and still gave us a title challenge and broke the points record 2 times. Do some of us here a favour and look up Rafa's winning percentage while he was at Liverpool. Show some respect to a former LFC manager who fought for the fans and only had good intentions for the club...

Are you referring to me?
Have I written something untrue? If so where? All the things I stated are FACT, I believe.
"negative and false propaganda"? Eh? I didnt say no team wants to appoint Rafa. I said that other, lesser managers get work so Im sure he has turned jobs down. Why is that disrespectful?
Sheesh -talk about paranoid!
