GLEN JOHNSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

With this article he basically backs up what everyone saw and knew, except the media, of course.

I also can't believe all the flack he's received from other black pro's.

Fair play to him, he really shows his support for Suarez in this interview.
'Son, you'll do well here as long as you remember two things. Don't over-eat and don't lose your accent.' - to Ian St John when he signed for Liverpool.

Well in lad, just calling it the way he saw it when asked without worrying about political fallout and irrespective of what colours were involved

My guess is he wont react.
Like the media in general he will ignore it. The damage has been done to LFC and they wont want to rationalise and discuss it beause they were wrong.

if he is asked i doubt he could help himself from going all rabid and frothing at the mouth while throwing the person who asked it out.

Kind of sums up the whole situation and what is wrong with the media today.

Let's all gone on and on about these allegations but when it comes to the pure and simple truth, ignore it because it doesn't suit our agenda.

Even some idiot "fans" on this forum got aboard the hyesteria express.  :no

Well said Glenn, couldn't be further from the truth.

All other English clubs pale into insignificance!"

:bump

Just found his thread languishing back on page 3.

One of our best players this season , and one who is most definitely underrated and overly criticized on here. Excellent player IMO and for a full back he contributes a hell of a lot more going forward (shocking that he out performs all our midfielders going forward)  THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER bar Suarez and Sterling.
Champions of England 2020.

Has been very poor the last three matches. Poor passing, losing posession and not marking his player. Needs time on the bench. From when we played Chelsea he was excellent until the last three matches. Not sure whether he is injured or not but he has been poor.
