Evans to a certain extend promote youth, play attacking football but lost it with indiscipline in "spice boys era",
and sign rubbish defenders.
but Rafa??, one joker (Heimdall) think it is good idea.
i will tell you why it is not a good idea, it is not even an idea at all.
1)we pay Rafa 3mil to leave when we were near bankrupt. He took the money even though the Inter job was already lineup for him.
2)Inter after 6 mths paid Rafa 3-6m to sack him.
and you still want Rafa back?? when did we start growing money on trees?
i felt for Kenny, really.
he put his trust in the wrong person.
he defended Suarez, he got blasted by the media, his colleagues and the FA.
we didnt get any decisions from the ref, we gotten soft penalties against us etc.
he defended Carroll, the bugger decided to dive/ trip on himself after he rounded the Newcastle keeper.
then he got verbally abused by Carroll, and section of the fans for not getting results.
it is time to cut loss of Carroll and get a good striker.
The one thing I am fed up with is all the apparent lies being spread all over the place about the club and Benitez and how bad a manager he was. This is the biggest most shocking lie I know in club history. It is like a ghost noone has ever seen because all the numbers tell quite a different story.
Being truthful should not be voluntary. It should be mandatory. Lies and deceit must not work. The numbers are there to be seen and the truth will catch up with you in the end.
1. Rafa did not take the full pay when sacked - a lot was surrendered and a lot donated to charity. Even so what difference does this make? What are you trying to say?
2. At Inter he inherited a defensive team full of 33+ year old players way over the top. He told the board that the team needed investment or it was destined to fail and that he could not win anything with the players available. The board refused to give him money and decided to let him go instead. Was Benitez right? Well Inter has won 13 and lost 12 this season and is 20 points off the pace. Rafa won 12 and lost 7 during his time at Inter. After Benitez was sacked Inter improved short term reverting back to Mourinhos style of play dropping deeper and playing tight defensive football. Rafa tried to transform Inter to a quick, fluid attacking side with high tempo high defensive line but could not do that with the old boys he had available and without investment.
3. I guess what really is the case is that Banitez was a winner and really demanding. He did not let Gerrard or any other dictate him. Gerrard was never allowed to play in his preferred position and Carra was not going to get contract renewal. So they and british misfits in general like D Murphy and the like launched continious attacks on the "spanish waiter" and they wanted a british style and a british manager and an end to the spanish influence. They got it and so came Roy with his Koncheskys and Brad Jones and later Kenny with his Adams and Carrolls. And Carras wife was once more happy since she could dine and speak with the other wives and Gerrard was allowed to play central midfield and british we bacame once more. Perhaps a little too british? So the days of Champions League football and quality is now gone, the mutiny, on the back of a big financial meltdown was successful, and the end product was also exactly as was to be expected.
