Keane worth a lot more than 14? not sure about that, f.uckin hell values are skyrocketing

Tottenham just signed Luka Modric for 16.5 M who is a fairly unkown quantity from the Croation league. Robbie Keane has shown that he can consistently score, link up, and be a leader in the premiership. Darren Bent was transfered to Spurs for the same price as Modric. Keane is 27 which is older than ideal but would still be able to be a key contributor for 4 years

I'd like this to happen and I think considering other transfers, the price is about right too.

The good thing I see is that players this season all want to come to our club, which is great!

The rumour has gathered a lot of momentum and is all over the press and radio. There must be some truth in this if so many people have picked up on it...

Anyone doubting Keane as a signing for LFC needs their head read. He's do a great job for us alongside Torres, Gerrard, Babel, Kuyt and Co.

Rafa appears to be being v.sensible this summer with his apparent targets. Keane, Barry, Downing etc are all proven in the EPL and would not take any time to adapt if they moved to LFC.

My team for next year (taking into account all the rumours) would be

Reina

Carra
Skrtel
Agger
Dossena

Barry
Mascha

Gerrard
Babel
Keane

Torres

Bench = Kuyt, Yossi, Lucas, Downing(maybe), Sami + couple of others

Now we are talking.

The guys Rafa is apparently looking at will cost more as they are homegrown. However what value do you put on being able to hit the ground running in the EPL?? Also experience of EPL + individual teams and players...balances itself out IMO.

Is Robbie Keane a boyhood Liverpool fan?  As far as I knew he was a celtic fan.  There are vids on the net of him celebrating with Damien Duff and Shay Given a celtic win over Rangers in a bar in Glasgow.  Also seen vids of him at celtic park singing.

Robbie Keane is a Robbie Keane fan!

Back in 2000/01, a girl I went to Uni with (in Leeds) met him in a bar and was invited back to his house.  Instead of putting the moves down he sat her down and put a 'best bits' Robbie Keane compilation video for her to watch!  Class!

He married a model over here (Ireland) a couple of weeks ago. She seems like a nice girl, head screwed on....It was all over the papers - a real paparazzi event.
Good luck to him.
If he *does* sign for LFC, I'll have to change my attitude to him, 'cos the way he plays for his country (and Spurs for that matter...) I get fecked off watching him throw himself to the ground and then implore the ref for a free kick

All Liverpool players should dive if necessary.

The best way to dive is to stumble, then drop to the ground on your stomach and if possible, slide a little bit.

Do NOT look at the ref.

Do NOT leap into the air.

Do NOT roll around.

You've got to make it look authentic.

This should be taught to all children who play football.

I wonder what her best bits were.
