Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

Postby Madmax » Sat May 09, 2009 4:03 pm

Guillem Balague has said Liverpool and Juventus are the frontrunners to sign David Silva this summer.
The midfielder looks certain to leave Valencia at the end of the
season, with Los Che desperatue for the money, and Balague believes
Anfield could be his destination.
The Sky Sports expert stated “Fernando Gomez, Valencia’s Director of
Football, has basically said they will not be able to keep David Silva
and David Villa.
“They will try to keep one but the general idea is to find finances from their sales.
“They are in a really bad way financially. Villa has been linked
with Barcelona - although some papers claim Perez wants him at Real -
while Silva is likely to go to either Juventus or Liverpool.”

There's no way we'll sell Alonso. He's arguably our best player this season so why the f**k would we sell him and take a gamble on Barry. Makes no sence. If we get Downing ill kill myself.

Yh apprently Heerenveen's club director has said Liverpool is the place Pranjic wants to go so its practically a done deal seeing as weve been heavily linked with him for about a week.
