Somebody posted Quaresma's interview on RAWK, and in it he said that we approached him with an offer, but he didn't like the plans that Rafa had for him. He didn't specify it, but he mentioned that he would not be able to express himself fully if he took the offer. I think that Rafa just wanted him to cut out those meaningless tricks that he always does.

Listen, all of you who are thinking that Quaresma is some great player need to get off of youtube.com because he is absolute :censored:

. He is all flair, glamour and glitz but no finish. He would definitely not surive in the EPL as any knock or bump and he goes down. He has no physical side to his play.

He is DEFINITELY not worth the money. Maybe for around 8-10 million then fine that is worth a crack at it, but he is definitely not all what he is cracked up to be.

That is exactly what it was; Rafa wanted him to cut down the showboating. He did not want to do that. Scolari also told him to cut down on the showboating for the Portugeuse National team and he as not too fond of that either - the reason as to why Quaresma spent the majority of time on the bench.

so lets sign ordinary players like riera, pennant, benayoun, Gonzales, and Leto instead then. Quresma aint the finished article but his still far more talented than the wide players we keep signing who are no better than ordinary.

yes I have. Would he get in any of our rivals side? Nowhere near!!! If Reira is the best we should hope for then were in trouble.

For 8-10 million, sure I would take the chance on Quaresma. However, I would NOT pay over 20 million for a guy who will make the youtube.com "Top 10 moves of the 2008-09 EPL Season" that has absolutely no finish.

How many times have you actually seen Quaresma play?. Reira cant even lace his boots.

Back to the topic..This has been a poor transfer window for us with only noticeable signing been Keane whom we have also paid over the odds.
