I have a Pompey season ticket and see him every home game and i can say he is the best offensive full back in England and he has scored some good goals and set up alot. Would be so much better than Arbeloa

Aaron Lennon - £16,000,000

He is great on the ball technically and can beat his man over and over again in some games. He has pace and despite what some people think he has incredible delivery and around the box can always find a killer ball. His pace would also come in handy for defencive track backing.

Yuri zhirkov - £14,000,000

The guy has physical attributes like stregnth and power that are vital in premier league games. He has speed to burn and can get down the wing like Ronaldo on steroids. He has an end product from what ive seen and his ability to play left back and left mid would prove invalueble.

Barry - £9,000,000

We all know his ability. He has great vision, stegnth and can defend. He also has the addition of being able to play anywhere in midfield or defence.

To sell:

Babel - £11,000,000

Voronin £4,000,000

Dossena - £5,000,000

Lucas (God i hate him) - £4,000,000



Total Spent = £24,000,000 :D

Increase in quality = 1,000,000%

Aaron Lennon has incredible delivery and can always find the killer ball ?

i dont think we should be going for Zhirkov at all... im not sure hes all that good defensively... and we can most certainly do alot better if we're looking for a left winger... hes a bit of a funny one and if it was 5-10 mill then he would have been a decent shout but at 15mill or so i think it would be a total waste of money... Im a big Glen Johnson fan but 10mill is still a little too much... but he'd be a step up on what we have no doubt...

Given the Keane situation and going by what history tells us we should have around 20-30mill to spend without having to sell anyone...
Id be okay with going for Barry IF we can somehow offload Lucas and Dossena for a combined 8-10mill and use that money to finance the Barry deal... wee could also sell the likes of Babel, Voronin, Leto, Pennant, Itnadje, Hobbs? for a combined 20mill or so which would give us around 40-50mill to spend on new players... preferably no more than 2 top class players... if i had to pick id go for Robben and Glen Johnson... or maybe Silva and a rightback... but one things for sure, we need to do alot better in the transfer market this year than we have been doing so far... its time for Quality over quantity and i hope Rafa gets it right this time around...

Aaron Lennon and Glen Johnson shouldn't even be on our radar.  Don't rate either of them at all.  Would rather have Arbeloa and Kuyt than those two on the right.

Yer, it would be an absolute joke to have more members of the Euro Champs in our ranks.  How could we look at ourselves in the mirror? :D

Johnson will not leave for that cheap, and anyway going by latest rumors he is keen for a move back to London and is headed to Spurs. Also Lennon is rubbish. He has pace but is sloppy in his end product. Give me some more Spanish players please

Im only saying Johnson and Lennon because we need the 5 English player thing so we need some good ones that can get into our starting line up. Ita almost a dead cert that Barry will be coming but i have no idea where he'll fit in but for 10mil max i think we should just get him on board. Micah at RB would be pretty good and with Liverpool's coaching staff he could become great.

Can we somehow get Iniesta even if it's for 50-60 M ? The guy is a monster, no matter how many Essiens and Ballacks and Lampards you put over him, he just won't give the ball away. Unbelievable player with incredibale talent.
