Is it me or is there something wrong this.
His price is so high due to him being English. (So its based on his Race and not what he can do)
That being the case a person finding it hard to do the job they wish due to their Race falls within the Race discrimination act.
Barry and Liverpool could fight this and have the price set for them.![]()
You are having a laugh Lakes?
No i am not, i have just had to spend weeks doing discrimination law and if we are saying that we pay more for him as he is English then thats Due ti his race.
Any player that think his price is artificially high due to where they are born have a case.
I think you should continue spending more weeks doing discrimination law!
Its like saying the fact that house prices are more expensive in the south-east is discriminating buyers from the north. Just like houses the market climate sets the going rate for players, Barry included. Because there is so much foreign investment in the English game, native club commodities are being driven up, i.e. English players (and I would even go as far as saying British players).
Where's the discrimination? These values are being assigned to English players because clubs see local players as a high commodity. It is these players who drive fan support, obviously there are some exceptions but it is generally the home grown players who are supported more.
Buying a house will not come under the European employment law
it would if you used it as a brothel
