indeed, it shouldn't be all doom and gloom.
but neither should we be eternal optimists.
the summer transfer dealings were not what we would call ambitious and those of a title challenger. we weren't willing to pay transfer fees nor salaries.
its not all doom and gloom if we don't set our sights too high. but no one can deny that we are probably in the same bracket as spurs n probably charlton n bolton at the moment. with a new manager, newcastle can match us stride for stride as well.
u have to strike a fine balance. blind support is not going to help the team, its just going to make them slack.
*i have no complains with the team right now though, its just 2 games into the season. but if the time comes, i hope everyone would give the team a little pressure to nudge them along the right way.
