Although he could findhimself in a situation where we dont get Barry but he is still considering a big bid for Alonso from Real to fund someone else.

He may have opened a can of worms and a host of interest merely by looking to sell Alonso last summer to fund the signing of "Gazbaz". He might generate a bit of cash by selling Alonso, but he'd also create a problem in not only leaving a hole in midfield difficult to fill with equal quality, but also jeopardise the balance of the side.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Anyone heard of this Kleber guy as well?

Javi Martinez has issued a "come-and-get-me" plea to Liverpool because he is eager to be part of their illustrious history.

The Athletic Bilbao midfielder has been touted as a possible replacement should Xabi Alonso leave Anfield.

Martinez said: "Liverpool are a great team with a great history and any player would like to go there.

he seems alright  :nod

Always wary of players who issue "come and get me" statements. If Rafa wants you he'll approach you.

I just don't understand it. He must of been sold on the idea that City were going to "buy" the league this coming season.

Yeah it must be that. Also he probably wanted to make sure he was in the starting 11 all the time to keep his England place. At Liverpool he could have been subject to rotation as he isn't at all an improvment on what we have now.

I guess MON is happy not to see him come to us.

In a way I am happy but on the other hand I'm not that happy about it.  It seems we're going to lose out on Barry and Tevez and regardless of my opinion or anyone else's Rafa wanted both of these, maybe not so much Barry but he wanted Tevez.  I don't want us to lose out on Rafa's primary targets all over again because of the lack of funds and hear about it all over again next season..  I just wanna see some progress on some of the people we want sooner rather than later.

Hopefully we can still land Silva would be a horrible blow to lose out on all 3 of these, like I said personally I don't care about missing out on these 2 but Rafa had them in our plans so yeah, you get what I mean.

I personally think he wanted him, he's exactly the type of player Rafa loves to have imo.
