if rumours are to be believed rafa has about 12 million, and this is before he sells players like dossena and babel, who prob will go in jan, so lets say rafa has 20 million.

he should sign VDV, not sure what the figure on him is.
he should get nistelrooy on loan
and sign a good LW

Or maybe the money raised will go to pay off the clubs debt . Hmmm which is more likely i wonder.

I had hoped it has all been a terrible dream that Liverpool were linked with a move for Carlton Cole but it actually seems like we offered over £10 million (i know THAT MUCH) for the West Ham forward which was turned down. I struggle to see why Benitez thought Cole would be a great option for Liverpool. Im so so so glad that this deal did not go through.

I think part of the reason may have been because of the english quota being introduced next season.

Not sure about his injury record tbh, at a guess i would have thought this was his first lengthy-ish spell out though. Could be wrong like.

Agree West Ham would have laughed it off because he is english and gets in the England squad.
They would probably try and get double that.
But i think around 10-12 million is a fair cost for him.

I would take him definately if the money wasnt stupid.
