before johnson we were solid
with johnson we were all over the place defensively
now hes injured we are solid again

I agree with you, Johnson shoudln't be playing as RB he should be RW.

but where does that leave Kuyt?  ???

yeah that is a quandry becuase Kuyt must play above all else becuase we all know that all you ever need as a footballer is to work hard, at least that's what Rafa seems to think.

Glen's Rafa insight
16th Feb 2010

Glen Johnson has given fans a small insight into what Rafa Benitez is like as a manager.

The right-back, currently recovering from a medial knee ligament injury, has played under several big-name coaches, including Fabio Capello, Jose Mourinho and Harry Redknapp.

And he claims they all have different qualities.

Talking exclusively to LFC Weekly magazine, Johnson said: "It is all football with Rafa, but that's not a bad thing.

"Obviously he clearly loves the game and wants everyone to improve and do well. As a player you can never complain about that.

"Just as every man is different, every manager is different too. Every boss has their own way of doing things and their own style. Rafa is like that too."

Spending so long on the sidelines has given Johnson a chance to hone his own managerial skills - albeit on a computer game.

"I'm sick of TV now," he added. "When you're confined to the couch you'll look at anything. Thankfully Championship Manager got me through that time too. I won everything with Liverpool."

The full Johnson interview, plus as exclusive chat with Martin Skrtel and in-depth graphical analysis of Dirk Kuyt's 50 Liverpool goals, appears in this week's LFC Weekly magazine.

Garreth Barry is shiit but our chump manager thought he is better than Alonso. HE also though a cash strapped club should spend 18m on a full back.

The manager is krap and should have been fired long ago - total spoofer and out of his depth.

The majority of fans are stupid are believe you should cheer for the manager, hence we gave him a contract a year ago.

We cannot afford to sack the useless man, so are stuck with him. Hopefully some club will want him in the summer because he is shiit and we will never win the league with the useless chump.

So, Fergie, Wenger and Mourinho has never wasted money?? :no

The difference is Rafa must be Mr Perfect since we are skint and he isn't on a level playing field.

Just pathetic to go on the manager when there is a 0 player budget and will continue to be so. But we must win the league no matter what... :no

Until the 2 parasites leaves I have only one thing to say:

GET USED TO IT!

Did you think Garreth Barry is better than Alonso or that Aquilini (check his fitness record before he joined LFC) was a good buy?

Benitez is rubbish.

This is where people confuse the issue. Many managers have made bad buys. But few have turned good players into robots who are sh'it scared of being creative. Fergie, Wenger and Mourhino played attacking flair football and put players in their best position to get the best out of them. They have attacking minded formations which enhance the systems and tactics. And if it isnt working they change it.
We are in a stubborn rut dying the slow death from boring confined narrow football
