is my point proven? i was slated aswell for the idea that johnson being out could be a good thing

Well, considering your point, our immediate results after Glo-Jo(by the way Ciggy I think that nickname is fackin awesome)

Going out of the FA Cup against Reading,Drawing against Stoke, Beating Spurs,Drawing Wolves 0-0, and beating Bolton.  Well yeah your point is... Umm... well.. uhh.. What???

I still think you are full of a boatload of :censored: thinking that Liverpool are better with Glen Johnson injured.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

We've played Wolves twice (17th), Stoke and Bolton (16th) so hardly the most demanding of opposition. Carra has "done a job" at RB, but for those sides we could have done with a bit more attacking which we certainly lacked against Stoke with Rafa's baffling anti-stoke tactics.

That said, we've won nine and lost six in the league with Johnson playing, won three, drawn three and lost just one without Johnson. But considering he played most of the start of the season and has missed the last four (DWDW) which TORRES has also, does that mean it's also a good thing Torres is out?!?!? ???  Or might it just be we're playing beatable opposition and now we're drawing games we should win instead of losing them..............................

I doubt many would want Carra as a long-term RB

Ya lets drop the only reason were fighting for a champions league spot and put back old carragher and Agger. Who the hell is Daniel Agger? Kyrgiakos became our MVP in the last month. In his first legitimate chance with the team (the 3 sporadic games in the first half of the season wasnt a real chance) he has settled our defensive issues.

comon you cant possibly tell me now that glen johnson out hasnt been good for the team?

johnson out, a more solid defensively minded right back in = more clean sheets, more solid performances

we had a great defensive record before johnson

we had a poor defensive record when johnson was playing

now hes out we have a great defensive record again

The stats do suggest that we are better without him but i think until we can compare the stats from his return with what we have from teh beginning of the season we can not say if it his fault or the the fact that most of the defense started the system out of form.

Do we need to ask the question why we didn't have a more testing pre-season ahead of what should have been the year we brought the PL home!!

:D i'm not a sta man myself but just trying to say that we can not blame our results on GJ until we see what happens to the defense once he's back from injury.

If we start to leak goals once he's back then there might be a case but until then we must in my opinion hold our judgement

Please be kind Owzat  :p

I agree with you, Johnson shoudln't be playing as RB he should be RW.
