It always happens when one of these clubs is in a moneybags situation, particularly when they change the manager. Mancini will come in, no dobt with his eyes on a few Italian players who he's certain will be a smash hit in the Premiership, and there will be squyad members and people he doesn't fancy who are up for grabs.

There's already talk that Craig Bellamy and Shay Given may want out, and it's hard to imagine if he does go a spending in a couple of weeks that they won't offload a couple. Are there any of theirs which we might fancy at a cheap price, even at a dear price if we have our hand forced on Masherano?

For me, I'd ask about Steven Ireland. He hasn't figured regulalrly this season, but is a top player IMHO who would fit into our team beautifully. I think you'd get him for less than 10, particularly if Mancini doesn't fancy him. I'd also take the young centre half who's name is a mystery to me (Onihuya or something).

Any others which anyone might fancy?

I want Bellamy no doubt. I cant believe he is our player just one year ago.
Rafa wont be in such a deep sh1.t if he didnt sold those good players who wanted to stay.

I would very much like Crouch back. Bellamy was ok, Crouch was better.

They need defensive players, so there's no chance they would pinch from us.

I can't see much of a fallout actually. Doubt Mancini will do any transfer business in the summer, unless it is defensive players.

i've also read that bellamy is particularly unhappy, and i have to say it was a big surprise judging by his performances. here is a player we offloaded in a hurry because of certain 'character traits' but is a player who despite being 'unhappy' has been putting in some of the best performances in the premiership so far this season.

we should never have got rid of him in the first place.
