Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Dalglish » Fri Sep 17, 2004 12:55 am

United have struggled in midfield this season and this happens to be Liverpool's strongest area at present with Alonso and Gerrard staryting to develop an understanding. Keane filling in at the back has left them less comnbative in the middle and slow at the back. If Ferdinand returns with Wes Brown and Keane pushes back into the Middle it opromises to be a titanic battle in midfield.

My head says a draw is written all over this game but as LFC have proved recently at old trafford  a win is the usual result there :D

It's been suggested before if you have a personal difference (as you two obviously do ) then PM each other cos the rest of us don't want to hear it OK ???

I mean no disrespect to you but I don't need you telling me what to do and what not to do. She can't back up her Mancs with a descent debate so she decides to start something.

Getting back on topic, I win would really boost us. I personaly wouldn't be happy with a draw because clubs like Tottenham and Bolton already have more points than we do.

Heres a question for the ages, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE? Are all Mancs so desperate for glory that they spend their time on a Liverpool board?

Getting back on topic, a win at Trafford is not impossible, we have done it before with a squad [last year] that isn't nearly as good as our current one imo.

Wonder who is gonna score our goals when taking on manure, now that Murphy`s gone ???

I`ve got a feeling that Garcia hits target again; A goal in his Anfield debut and a matchwinner at "theatre of cheats". A perfect start to his Liverpool-career  :)

:D shagamanc a few weeks ago you said only 2 of liverpools players would be good enough to play at old twatford.
Being gerrard and hypia.
News for you what your fellow fans think is going to happen pmsfl  its gone to 7 of our players now.

kirkland
josemi hyypia silvestre heinze

ronaldo gerrard xabi garcia

cisse RVN

i dont care how badly silvestre has been, I still think he is brilliant. I dont rate scholes, think he is has a great couple of months then nothing but rooney would be in there if he proved himself in the league which he could do wonders.
