Interesting poll here where you can see the majority would welcome him.

Call me old fashioned but we have certain unwritten traditions at this club that are being eroded away in the hope we can acquirte the Holy Grail that has become the Premier League Title.

Benitez has been at the club 5 years , the Americans even less. I've been here all my life and thats significantly longer so let me repaet , we DON'T buy Manchester United players ...end of !

Is right fella.

I do think, though, that Rafa is purely doing this to p*ss that Scotch nob-jockey off. Whilst he and the papers :censored: and cum in their pants respectively, Rafa will be busy snapping up some other signings undisturbed by the interfering b*stards.
It will also tie the scum up with negotiations, causing bad feeling between player, club and fans, and the general unrest might be enough to unsettle the whiskey-swigging f*cker for the entire summer.

It's the most glaring smoke-screen in the history of illusion, in my opinion, and the only way it could get better is if Tevez publicly declares that he wants to join us, then we tell him to get f*cked.

If Rafa can find some way to drag the diving queen into the argument, it would be a pretty funny close season indeed! :D

he is no longer a man utd player from june anyway - he was only ever there on loan . I understand the sentiment of not buying a man utd player but in the real world where a decent deal could be struck up then you should snap up players with the quality of tevez and not give a flying f.uck where they come from .

Oh my god can it be true, do I actually agree with GYBS about something, yes I do.

I don't really view Tevez as a manure player as he hasn't been there long enough plus he is only on loan.

Players like Rooney, Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand and Neville etc would be absolutely unthinkable though.

I would not want Neville, Rooney or Scholes ever, Giggs seems like a really nice bloke but he is a manc through and through so no way.  :no

If you were offered Rooney Scholes and Giggs to any team you would be totally clueless and mental to say "No thanks i dont want them becuase they played for manure "

crazy . World class players (current and past) dont get turned down.

GYBS sorry mate but no way would i want rooney at liverpool, not for all the tea in china

i'm not saying he isn't a good player but i just would'nt want him playing for us  :no  :no

i don't like his attitude i think it sucks ( a great one for the mancs though ) i think carra would lump him after the first game :D

as for giggs well yes in years gone by i would of loved to have had a player like that at liverpool but he has always been and will aways be a manc

i would love to see tevez playing for a true red shirt i don't think he has ever bought in to the manc sh*t

One lump from Carra would sort out the attitude :D

As a player would never turn him down - him and torres would be outstanding .

Neither would get in a World eleven, but I'd just about take Arbeloa over O'Shea. I like Arby, as I do most good honest pro's so I might be slightly over-estimating him. It's debateable.

Carrick and Fletcher over Alonso and Masherano though? Come on  :D Are we seriously comparing the captain of Argentina, the bloke who Maradona raves about to Darren Fletcher :D Does anybvody seriously think the two are in the same stratosphere? Fletcher fits my preferred model of the good honest pro, but it's like comparing a pub chef to Gordon Ramsay and even in the face of his "honest pro-ness", I'd be amazed if even he thinks he's better than our man. Needless to say, if he does he's a c... (sometimes you've just got to tell it like it is).

As for Carrick over Alonso. Arguably it's closer in that Carrick and Alonso can be mentioned in the same breath, but realistically only if you're one of those free diver people or whatever the feck their called. Are we seriously trying to suggest that Carrick would have got game time in the European Championship winning team when he can't get in the England squad? Lets be serious. Whcihever TV network employs these two clowns should rip up their contracts and get somebody on who's got a clue. As I've said before, i may not be cheerful but I am cheap  .

Good post Mick, I actually stayed with it til the end.

If he arrived a couple of goals and great performances would make people totally forget he was ever a manc - off course it will never happen but players of that quality is what we need to add to our squad

you can call me old fashioned as well mate! top post, i couldn't agree more. ffs the thought of herman munsters son playing for us makes my blood boil. HE IS NOT WORTHY TO WEAR THE RED SHIRT.

i'm old fashioned enough to say mate it p1ssed me off when roy evans signed ince -even though it wasn't directly from manure,it was the principle for me,sadly it was roy's worst mistake/descision signing that tw@t. i only sincerly hope raffa doesn't make the same mistake.

brilliant post mate, the best iv'e seen on here in ages!  :bowdown
