Nooo way Alonso makes so much more of an impact than Tevez and even if we did buy Tevez would it mean going to the 4-4-2 formation which we havent had recent success with?

Bring in Barry for more versatility in midfield, a decent striker who wont cost too much and is there mainly to cover for when Torres is taken off so we can keep our lone striker formation and a decent right back.

I cant see Benitez selling Alonso anyways.. he didnt sell him last year when he was doing , the chances of rafa selling him this year after hes had the season of his life is very very slim.

I'll probably come in for some flack but I think either Alonso or Masch would have to be sacrificed for Tevez. Id probably let Masch go.

Why can't we just offer Tevez a contract, sign him up and then feck off this little Jorbachin t0sspot and tell him we'll see him in court if he's got a problem with it? We could drag it out for a couple of years what with appeals and all that old b0ll0cks, if we lose we just say "ah feck it you can have him back then". If we win, we get him for free. If half way through his "owner" gets a bit twitchy, we settle for 10 mill and call it quits.

I`ve always thought Xabi is World class but if losing him means bringing in Tevez then I`ll take that sacrifice for the good of the team.i also think we can survive without barry.Buy Tevez,sell Xabi,forget Barry,sell Babel,Leto,Voronin,Dossena and bring in a left winger to play when reira can`t.

would be a big mistake... if we want tevez it's simple... first of all we can sell bable, lucas and the divine porn star... that would raise about 14-15 million? with the trasnfer kitty of 25 million for the summer and the money that we stilll have from selling keane 12-13 million, we would have about 51-53 million.
buy tevez for 30 million, and we still got 21-23 million for Silva. That's it. That would have really strengthened the squad.

That`s not simple at all.
Firstly,the Keane money is not in our Kitty.
Secondly,Tevez is going to blow our complete transfer budget meaning we have to sell to buy a Barry or a Silva type player.If you want Both Barry and Silva then we`ll need to raise atleast 30 million in sales.Xabi will be sold,Tevez,Barry and Silva are Midfielders..........................
