Tevez anyone?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Modern times demand modern attitudes not an old fashioned Hovis Bread type attitude .If signing an ex Manure player(one of the best in the world) who luckily feels unloved at the the most sucessfull club(Not greatest) in the last 20 yrs in England then YES I feel it`s time to say goodbye to an outdated "Never sign a ManU player" tradition and move on in the 21 st century.ManU moved on and burnt every one of their traditions to equal our record of 18 titles(Something sky never really mentioned until ManUre equalled our RECORD.)
Tevez is only a loan player, maybe some of the ancient "traditional" supporters who scream "Never a ManU player at Anfield" should realise that Tevez has never said a bad word against us,is best frinds with Mascher(Damn you Mascher for being friends with a ManU player) and had his representatives in Liverpool last week wondering what our actual offer might be.

i`d take tevez, every day, every week and every season for the next ten seasons(we win the league).
In Rafa I trust.

Tevez has not prolific for Manure but he has tremendous work rate and run his socks off. This season he scored important goals for them and has had better effect when playing or coming on compared to Berbatov. The fact that he scored few goals is why, I suspect, Manure anf Fergie is baulking at paying the agreed balance for a permanent transfer and now trying to wriggle their way to a lower amount.

Seems like a player Rafa will love. I wouldn't mind having him at Liverpool.

Yeah £106k a week apparantly. I wonder if Kia J is infact making this up. On second thought we already have one of his 'clients' Mascherano so I guess the relationship with the club and him must be good. So maybe what he is saying is true?

I agree totally. Tevez will be that extra punch up front we've been looking for. Experience in the league, workhorse-like attitude, more than decent skills on the ball plus an already established friendship with Mascherano and in future Insua (the Argentinian connection).

I really can't think of anyone better... maybe Messi??  :D

But the mother of all attracting factors is the fact that getting him will be a f*%king big tight slap on the face of Manure  :buttrock

I think with Tevez if we were really interested in him (which it seems Rafa is) then we are in a slightly advantageous position whereby we have already done business with MSI and the player himself is keen not to move his family away. Plus he is proven here so it wouldn't be a risk.

:D  You could say that but Keane was never tested at a top 4 club where as Tevez has played well for a championship winning team.

Go for it - Tevez as part of the overall machine could be the difference between winnng the league next season and coming second.  'Just do it'.

Strange considering we dont have any money mind..........
