Don't buy it. We look vulnerable every time we have to defend a corner.

Men score goals, not zones.

How do you explain our great defence then and the fact that we hardly concede corners these days

Imagine if we man marked, cor blimey we wouldnt concede for 500 games we'd improve soo much!!

Zonal marking is a poor substitute for picking up your man. ALWAYS will be.

we have been outplayed so far - end of story - chelsea have been superb . there two big players essien and drogba are running the show

We missed Masch big time, and the score has feck all to do with zonal marking.  The team just didn't show up today.  Everyone bar torres, xabi, kuyt and arbeloa have been absolutely horrible.  Those 4 didn't even have great games but much better than the rest.

Essien is an awesome player.  for me his the biggest miss for chelsea when he aint fit.  His stopped Gerrard getting in the game.
