nando looks like he is just taking it easy and to be honest, im happy with that!

Why do we want to sell Xabi, he is still by far the best passer of the ball in the premiership

Reina in, Arbeloa in, Alonso and Torres still on the pitch ???

I think that's the answer of Del Bosque to Benitez's concerns

Fat Lampard in, Beckham in.

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

The Spanish players that are warming up are Llorente (striker), Marchena (CB), and Silva (from the left).

So, by the looks of it, Alonso may well play all the game  :glare:

My first half-report:

In a stop-start half with the ref feeling it unnecessarily necessary to blow his whistle every 30 seconds every time a Spanish player fell to the floor the game started solidly for England, the possession Spain had was harmless. Neither team could get into a rhythm due to the constant intervention by the referee. As the half progressed England had the first chance with Gabby Agbonlahor missing by just a few inches with a left foot volley after a centre from the left. That was the only chance on goal until, Xabi Alonso found some space and split the two centre halves in two with David Villa taking the ball on nicely, although he got slightly lucky he turned Phil Jagielka, who deputised for the unwell Ferdinand next to Terry at centre back, inside out, before calmly slotting the ball past David James. Nothing of note happen here on afterwards. One other point to note was a free kick by Downing that failed to get over the wall.

Fernando Torres still on at the start of the second half. Pepe Reina swpas between the sticks with Casillas, and Arbeloa also comes on for Spain.
David Beckham, Robert Green, Peter Crouch, Frank Lampard and Matthew Upson entering the fray for England with David James, Gareth Barry, Emile Heskey, Stuart Downing and Phil Jagielka departing.

Probably. The media found pretty controversial Rafa's concerns, and they've put pressure on the matter.
