Now Torres is back (if gerrard is fit) i would sit Robbie out for a game or two, i know people say playing a player through a bad period is best but he looks really like he is snatching at chances that he would usually of buried in a previous season, and he is also not being positive enough and making the right decisions in key positions.
I have faith in his ability that he will come good though.

He is just lacking in confidence thats all. All we can do is give him time. Despite his misses I would rather see him play more often than Babel.

What i found hilarious during the summer was the many posters who thought we were getting a Bergkamp type striker and how he would be the prefect compliment to Torres. He's nothing of the sort, and never has been.

Anyone who thought Keane was a similar player to Bergkamp is (to para- phrase lando) a total yogurt.

Many pundits thought that Torres and Keane would work well together and form an impressive partnership. Were they all talking cr.p or am I missing something.

My biggest concern with Keane was that he wasnt getting regular games at Tottenham. For one reason or another he was left out, and many times came on as a sub. At first I laughed at the idea of paying £20 million for him but stopped laughing when we did. Can be influential at times, and look brilliant, but the fact that even Ramos left him out of the team surely showed as some sort of warning.

Probably enough to see that Keane's game doesn't help Torres.

yep torres needs some one with a little pace to take defenders away from him so he can turn on the ball and get shots in keane has as much pace as a 1 leg donkey.

Has anyone heard Rushies comments on Keane and the pressure of playing for a club like Liverpool, and comparing him to Morienttes, Bellamy and Heskey ?

I heard a tiny bit on Talksport and Danny Kelly slating him for saying what he said but I missed it
