I'd suggest a few of you watch back the chance he had in yesterday's game. The ball sits up a touch, the keeper gets out very quickly and makes himself big, he could have elected to go around the keeper but it was split second stuff. The keeper made a very good save, lets not forget that. If it had happened at the other end with the likes of Johnson shooting, would our focus have been "how the hell did Johnson miss that absolute sitter!!!" or would we be praising our goalkeeper for a tremendous save? I'm not saying he shouldn't have scored but I do think the keeper deserves credit for a fantastic save and i think others would be giving the keeper some of that credit HAD it been TORRES and not Keane in that position.
