Yes well I think thats what people told me last 3 seasons.  :)

It hasn't worked out well I just hope we can stand there at end of game tomorrow and feel proud thats all i ask for is at least we match them on skill , effort and not look like wanna b's.

O and a win would be really nice.

Still gonna stick to my 3-1 to us and fingers crossed keane gets on score sheet.

I suppose if the worst happens and Manure win, they will only go level on points with us.

Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves, Giggs and Ronaldo.

Who will they play in the middle??  Great chance for Mascha to boss the middle of the park with Alonso??

Carrick and giggs both are set to play , we all know fergie better than that

VDS

Wes Brown         Rio        Vidic           Evra

Fletcher             Carrick      Scholes     Giggs

                        Shrek        Berbatov/Tevez

A team which we can fully beat but i got a feeling fergie will play 4-3-3 utilising all his 3 strikers as his midfield is weak , i'd like kuyt to play to track back and help the defense cope with evra and giggs .

I agree mate, I think THEY will play 4-3-3 either from the start, or maybe just in the second half.

I have included Kuyt in my team, but to be honest he has been humiliated the last 3 times we have played them. Looked totally out of his class and made to look more of a donkey than usual.

He really needs to up his game this time (as do most of our players) I would prefer someone who gives Evra something to think about rather than someone to defend against Evra. Maybe we should play Gerrard on the right (just this once   :D )

unlucky mate, but feck flemingoland i"i be in dreamland tomorrow
when we beat the mancs!! cause i don"t want to settle for a point
& won"t be over happy with a point, as i said before we are at home & really need to win our home games if we have any chance of making a realistic challange for the title this season.

i know it"s early days but this is the perfect time to take vital points off our rival"s & ensure we stay at as near to the top as we can. the result is the most important thing for me at this moment in time, then we can concentrate on performances as we go through the season, if we need to win games like tomorrow ugly then so be it. the win is all i"m concerned about tomorrow 3 points
in the bag which i"m opamistic we will achieve.

come on red men this is a game where there is no hidding place
& no words of motivation for me are needed, the kop will be the
12th man tomorrow let the players do the rest!!

Owen Hargreaves and Michael Carrick return to Manchester United’s squad for tomorrow’s clash with Liverpool – and Cristiano Ronaldo is primed for a Champions League comeback against Villarreal at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Alex Ferguson confirmed his entire first-team squad is now fit ahead of the Anfield trip but that Ronaldo would not travel as he completes his recovery from ankle surgery.

However, Hargreaves, who has been troubled by a tendinitis problem, and Carrick, who also missed England’s victories over Andorra and Croatia with an ankle injury, will be involved as United look to continue their recent stranglehold in meetings with their bitter north-west rivals.

Squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Neville, Brown, R Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, F Da Silva, Fletcher, O’Shea, Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson, Scholes, Nani, Possebon, Gibson, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Welbeck.

6 Points clear if we beat them and manure have got the chavs next away game, a nice draw for chelsea these weekend and chelsea and manure draw , we're 4 points clear at the top assuming we win this and next week

TBH , this is the game i'd be dreading the most because firstly , we have a habit of dominating these games and yet we can't take maximum points from them . Tomorrow the game could be settle by 1 mistake , 1 bad call by the ref , 1 moment of brilliance by any player or by 1 lucky goal . People say the key for us is if torres and gerrard are fit , for me the key players in these fixtures are Mascherano and Carragher .
Mascherano will have to stop scholes from dictating play , he'd have to get right into scholes head by making hard tackles , going in for every ball , letting scholes knows that he'd be there whenever he has the ball. Carragher has to deal with the strength and power of rooney and the aerial threat of berbatov , which he has skrtel to help him out . United have alot of big man and good headers of the ball , set pieces will be the key where they will send vidic, ferdinand, berbatov all big man into the box . If we manage to nick a goal , united have to open up go for the equalizer , thats where fergie will gamble possibly playing with 3 upfront , and thats is a perfect chance for us to hit them on the break , counter and get another goal , torres's pace will be an asset there .

I dont believe Torres will be fully fit. The first run will be the acid test whether or not his hamstring is repaired. To be honest i would rather not risk him. Gerrard too, if his groin goes he will be out for weeks if not months.
Would rather i hate to say it lose this game than be without either of these two until Christmas.

ffs we are at home, it"s the perfect time in the season to take points, even if we don"t play well etc
what"s with all the fecking doom & gloom, i "m getting tence about the game ,but i also can"t wait for it either! i don"t care if we don"t play well , dominate the game etc 3 points is all that matters tommorow.
yes i would be made over if we play well, create loads of chances etc but as long as we gat stuck in from the kick off close the ball down we will win! feck worrying about what they have, & concentrate on what we have & know what we have & that is a team that has the capabilities to win tomorrow.
