Tricky team selection problems for this one, Reina, Arbeloa,Carra, Masch, Alonso, Keane, Riera are pretty much sewn on to start, with Torres hopefully fit enough to start as well.

Hyypia Agger or Skrtel ? I would go with Skrtel in this game but there are good arguments for all 3. If Berbatov plays we may struggle in the air without Hyypia, especially at corners and freekicks with Ferdinand, Vidic etc.

While the pace of the mancs front line may be too much for Hyypia, it might be too big a game to risk bringing Agger back, especially as he hasn't looked on top of his game.

Any way to cut a long story short ...... my team to beat the mancs.

                         Reina

Arbeloa     Carra        Skrtel        Dossena

Kuyt       Mascherano   Alonso      Riera

                 Torres    Keane
2-0 Keane and Kuyt

I think Rafa might decide to go with Aurelio rather than Dossena, but I would like to see what Dossena can do in a big game.

I'll tell you exactly what will happen on Saturday, Liverpool will attack from the start and go out all guns blazing. Manure will put ten men behind the ball and defend all game then scab a winner with the only break they get. Its the only way they play against the other top teams, they do it against the chavs and they do it against the :censored:. They know if they try to play football they will get beat.
On the other hand I think we win win this one 2-0. Come on red men.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

This is the kind of the game that has "Kuyt nicking it for the win" written all over it.

That would be outstanding.

Would love it if carra got a last minute winner - the guy would get mental.

I agree pretty much that we may see that team. The only thing he may change is Hyypia in for Skrtel,I would'nt be surprised if this happens as Hyypia wont be playing on Tuesday against Marsielle.
TBH i'd prefer Hyypia against the Mancs he breeds more confdence, has played against them loads.Plus Skrtel dives in way too much in tackles.
The less free kicks we give away around the box in this game the better!
Sami keeps his cool!

I need to sort out my fantasy footy and still have Gerrard and Torres in. Are they going to play?
