He's a good signing but i don't think he will be displacing Dunne anytime soon , any idea how much they bid for him . Richards should play right back .

Kompany is a very good player, just not sure how robust he is as he looks a bit skinny to me. We were supposedly interested in him many times over the past few years but never seemed to actually make an offer.

Cisse has signed for Sunderland, I am pretty sure he will outscore Kuyt, and even Crouch maybe...... even though he will be playing for one of the "poorer" clubs.

Well.. great signing Kompany i think.. will become a great CB if given time and the opportunity, and if M.Richards is played at right back i think Kompany can do a job in the center for City.
Anyways not very bothered with City but with Kompanny arriving and them apparently having to leave one of their big name defenders out, does anyone else think Corluka would be a great great addition to our first team. IMO hes one of the best fullbacks in the league and can easily become one of the best fullbacks in the world if he plays in a big club. However i would think ManUtd would have snapped him up by now had he been available because in all honesty he would suit their style perfectly. If we have the money i say get Corluka even before Barry or any left winger. HE would be a great improvement to our starting 11 which is more than i can say about any of the players we seem to be after.

Kompany has always been great on footie manager, so should be a good signing for City

. Anyway, I agree with aCe' that we could do a lot worse than looking at Corluka. I think he was great with City last year and also played really well for Croatia during the Euros. A very good right fullback, which is a position we could do with som strenghtening in (I'm not expecting big things from Degen tbh).

hull have bid £7million for utds frazier campbell.... £7million!!!

the kid had a good lone spell at hull last season, but i hardly think that justifies such a price tag considering he hardly ever plays for utd.

Everton signed Saha from UTD!!
Bit of a gamble IMO,injury prone,wonder how many games he will manage!
