Houllier's last chance

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Houllier must be given one last chance. If you think about it Liverpool have been unlucky. We should have put Arsenal away before half time, and we should have beaten 10 men Chelsea. If we had won those 2 games then we would be 1 point behind Arsenal and three behind Chelsea. I admit Charlton and Portsmouth were really bad. But any team can have an off day. Look at Man Utd against Fulham. What Liverool have to do now is go on a 10 game winning run. Against Blackburn Liverpool looked like they were hungry for it. Heskey wa great and so to was Traore would you believe.
We'll see the signs agains Fulham. If Liverpool continue at mid-table its time for a change and Id say O'Neill is the man. Until then Houllier must be given one last chance. :)

Er, you sound a bit like Houllier himself!

You get no points for should have but didn't win. Thats the nature of sport.

I think everyone here would prefer to play badly and win (as UTD often do) than to play well and lose.

We outplayed Arsenal but if we were really good enough we would have finished them off. The bottom line is that we weren't good enough.

As for Houllier getting another chance....as long as David Moores is in charge, Houllier will get all the chances he wants.

The team is still young. We need time to rebuild. I think Houllier is planning another 5 year plan. With a bit more luck things will change. Ok im joking. Well see how the next few games are then we will get rid of the c**t.

Give him a last chance !
Fraid not. Football is based on actual results not if's and maybe's. If you look at our results over the last 12 months they have not been good enough. We beat a poor Leeds side with a dubious second goal and a crucial save from Dudek when the scores were level. Blackburn had 1 less player for most of the game and still troubled our defence. We will have a better idea of where we are after the next few games.

houllier must be given more time... we got a good young squad with some exciting young talent. reckon we need a proven (fast) centre half though....

Yeah what is the deal with Biscan? Hes not a centre-half. I would much prefer Henchoz being in there than him.
