Fair point ! Although don't forget they played with ( and were carried by ) much better players. How would Bruno Cheyrou have shaped in the 1978-79 side ?

Glen Hysen never carried Ablett...Cohen,I will admit played with class players but that hindered his progress because he couldn't break through.How do you possibly oust Neal,AlanKennedy,Hansen and Thompson when they were at their peak and hardly missed a game.Do remember the title decider against Villa when Avi scored an oggy and then scored to put us in the lead.
