John Barnes' Granny (cleans shotgun).

I would saw Istvan Kozma, Alex Watson, Nick Tanner, Julian Dicks, Bjorne Khvarme, Jimmy Carter and Torben Picknick were all useless players (for Liverpool at least).

However, Smicer, Biscan and Traore have all played far more than the baove so any one of them gets my vote.

There are loads from the Roy Evans era.

Kvarme, David James, Sean Dundee, Eric Mejier, Phil Babb, Bjornebye who could only cross to the far post.

Bjornebye was a classic player and probably the best crosser of the ball we had during the 90's, Robbie Fowler will vouch for that.

Worst player would have to be Ferri or Dundee

Sean Dundee was never given a chance. He was primarily Roy Evans' baby, but Houllier didn't like the look of him.

Eric Mejir wasn't that great a player.

I have to saw the worst player I have seen at Liverpool is Djimi Traore. A lot of those mentioned above hardly played for Liverpool, but Traore has played nearly 50 times.

He looks more like a basketballer than a footballer.

How dare u, I never got a chance, Roy Evans bought me and never played me, then as soon as Gerard Houllier got the chance, he sold me,

Any way, i may not have scored, but thats because i never played, Eric Mejier couldn't score, and he got enough chances.

But Sean, my lad, do not not remember scoring against Lazio in a friendly in Dublin, July 1998?

Baron you swine you stole my post. I put this topic up in September.  But I welcome the chance to say once again that definitely Igor Biscan Is the worst player ever to put on the red Shirt. He's a plonker of the highest order.  Some idiot tried to compare him with Whelan. He said no one liked Ronnie at first.  Well that's not true I always liked Ronnie. Biscan is the worst.

I always accuse cheesey of talking about Man U but Humour me for a mo, Remember Brian McClair he was rubbish yet Fergie kept him around like a BOTTY BOY Perhaps Biscan Is MR Houliers BOTTY Boy

Please leave Mr Houlier

Big AL
Whilst I agree 100 % with your comments on the attributes of Mr Biscan can you really argue that Bruno Cheyrou is better than our serbocroat. That would be as farcical as arguing that Traore is the next Desailly ! Bruno must be one of the worst because of the fee and hype that came with him. Mind you , being in my thirties I can recall the odd duffer from our more successful eras ... Avi Cohen and Gary Ablett !

Baron I can't agree with you about Avi Cohen or Gary Ablett.Granted Cohen only got 20 games or so for the reds but that was mainly due to the abundance of top class defenders we had,who fortunately never got injured.Avi was a promising player, who just never got the chance to establish himself.Gary Ablett was a useful defender who could play in any position in the back four.He played over 100 games for the reds but was always the boo-boys scapegoat if the team failed to achieve, yet he was a player who gave 100%.
