But i also expect us to do pretty well in the champions league..... (at least another final)..

I feel that we're going to finally kick their a$$ this time. The only reason Arsenal lost to those :censored:

, is because they were absolutely terrible that day and they had a lot of key players injured. If the team manages to win there, it could start up a winning streak.

I'd feel comfortable with this team out there...

Yeah like that team time Crouch got a chance to see what he can do with Torres, last season's 0-0 was one of the most frustrating games I have seen so please no repeat of that lads. Everyone seems to expect an early goal but it won't be easy Boro like 90% of the other team that play against us Home or away will try and keep it tight and 0-0 for as long as possible and try and nick one from a set peice or do us on the break when we are throwing everything at them. But feel with Crouch in the team it dosen't matter how deep they defend or how many people they get behind the ball he will hold it up well and lay it back to the on coming torres and Gerrard and win lots of free kicks around the box. I think 0-1 Gerrard deflected long ranger, we are due some luck.

I reckon and pray that we make 4th spot in the league, and I have a weird feeling we'll get quite far in the champions league but can you please tell me why you believe with our current form that we will sail past two of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea?? If you think that we will suddenly start playing better and more consistently can you explain what you base this on, seriously I'd love for someone to give me some hope for this season.

i absolutely hate this fixture. the games are always absolutely sh#te. i've lived up here 8 years and in that time i've seen us score twice in the league in this fixture and they were both in a 2-1 win the season we finished second under houllier. we haven't scored against them at the riverside for SIX YEARS.

add this to the fact that the weather is absolutely f#cking miserable here at the moment (making the ground even more inaccessible than it normally is), and the fact that the stewards at boro are generally nobheads (ask leon or dalglish) and everything's looking good.

boro always raise their game against the big boys aswell. i went to watch them play arsenal the other week and they played them off the park. however sandwiched either side of that were home defeats to everton and west ham.

you going leon by the way?

Oh great reposte as always Lando, you are so clever with words. Now that you've accomplished the tricky task of forming short sentences of 3 or 4 words maybe you can start stringing some together into a paragraph, after that you can maybe one day hope to construct something called an argument!!
