Liverpool v Betis - CONFIRMED TEAM/IN-MATCH DISCUSSION

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Wed Nov 23, 2005 7:49 pm

Liverpool:
Reina
Finnan Carragher Hyypia Riise
Gerrard Hamann Sissoko Zenden
Crouch Morientes

Subs: Dudek, Kewell, Cisse, Josemi, Traore, Warnock, Potter

Thought Luis might have been fit, hope weve got enough to beat them, I would have played Cisse with Crouch as sub, but lets hope the big fella breaks his duck tonight :buttrock

Referee: Eric Poulat (FRA)

cggy, if you were a newbie you would have got a right slating for this thread.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that the LIVERPOOL VS REAL BETIS thread slipped your eyes    :D

No Stoney I spoke to John and asked him if he thought it was a good idea, on other forums they have the build up for a few days, then when the team sheets released start a whole new topic, then you have inmatch and after thoughts in the new topic.
Otherwise you have to trawl though pages of posts, and you miss half of what people have said.

Im happy enough with that team! Obviously would have liked to see Alonso and Garcia fit and they probably are near enough but if Raffa feels he cant take a chance thats good enough for me!
Glad to see DiDi in there ! Come on the kaiser :buttrock
I have a feeling that Crouch will net 1st in fact i bet Crouch 1st goal and a 2-0 win at 33/1 at ladbrookes!
Really dont care if that comes up it just a bit of added fun! Much more important than anything to me tonight is that the RED MEN march on into the knockout stages!!
COME ON THE POOL!!!

First LFC.tv reports that Xabi and Luis are fit for this game and then today they say that they failed to recover........

As far as I can see, there are no other mods on the boards at this moment.  I have enough faith in you to keep the peace and not cause too much anarchy given our absence.

I'm pissing off downstairs now to watch the match.  I'll be back at half time.  I might come back a bit drunk depending on how many cans of lager I've had.

Bah, my disgraceful national tv is broadcasting Real Mandril game. Wanted to comment online here, but I'm gonna see the game to the bar as they put it. See you all later! go reds!

Betis have certainly not come to lie down based on the first 12 minutes, like i said earlier this could be very tight.
