Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I felt it was time to start this match thread. Need to start looking forward to the next match to get our minds off of how badly we have been playing. Regardless of whether we are out of the league or not, it is still important to get all three points to stay in a healthy position for top 4 and Boro away could prove tricky ESPECIALLY considering our recent form AND injury list, although I think Gerrard should be good to go, but probably not Aurelio, Arbleoa isn't 100% fit, I think Rafa was thinking about throwing Skrtl in straight away but not sure if he has officially signed or not and I can't see it anyway, maybe last 5 minutes as a sub MAYBE.

Boro always seem to get a good result against one of the top 4 sides each season, so hopefully their 2-1 win over Arsenal is their sole show of resistance this time around.

If we can get 2 up within half an hour we'll batter them. It's when we get to half time still deadlocked that we get ourselves into trouble in games like this.

Now it's a fight to finish at least 4th.

A win is needed.

A convincing win.

One of those annoying teams that play cr@p most of the time but can pull of shock results (Arsenal!) no complacency in this game strongest possible team out and NO playing 4-5-1. Another Gerrard double would be nice :)

This is a game that should hold no fear for us and we should go there expecting to win. They are a bad side and if we put in a good performance than this SHOULD be no problem

I'm not sure about a fight to the finish to get fourth mate. We'll get a Champions League spot fairly comfortably I should think, by seven or eight points at least.

Expecting to get to CL Finals!

Think about expecting that a few years ago.

And people think we should get rid of Rafa  :no

You are both delusional and are in for a big fall I fear. I reckon and pray that we make 4th spot in the league, and I have a weird feeling we'll get quite far in the champions league but can you please tell me why you believe with our current form that we will sail past two of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea?? If you think that we will suddenly start playing better and more consistently can you explain what you base this on, seriously I'd love for someone to give me some hope for this season.
As for this game I think it will be tight but I fancy us to win 1-0

Get your coaching badges, apply for the Newcastle job.

They need someone like you desperately.
