Ciggy, that was a good post. I forgot he missed his fathers funeral for us. The man is just simply brilliant. And to think he needs to earn some peoples respect. Some :censored:

Benitez's youngest daughter, Agata, was just a few months old when the family moved to the Wirral.

Now three, the infant is a fully-fledged Liverpool fan with a Scouse accent.

"When people ask Agata who her father is, she sings the song 'Rafa, Raf-i-ell, Rafa-i-ell Ben-ee-tezzz'," laughs Benitez.

"We've been teaching her the correct Spanish pronunciation, but she likes to repeat the songs she hears on the Kop.

"When people ask her whichteam she supports, she is very determined and says Liverpool."

Get right behind the man on Wednesday night.

It'll be a sad day for the club is he does leave as he's a superb manager and the perfect man for the job. His resignation would set us back around 3-4 years in my view.

No he got my support over the last 3 years (yes i did not like him but he showed me i was wrong but he has to be judged on his results now.

Its the same in any walk of life. Tony Blair had the support of the country, but then the results stopped coming and he had to go.

If we dont win our next game are you all still going to say he should stay??? i think not some here have taken the result of our last game to far, the team we beat are in a bad place and we should have won by even more.

For him to get my full support he will nedd to win the next 4 games, win them well and keep his mouth shut about the owners. in the last few days HE has put our club in the press for the wrong things.

Lakes you are making yourself look silly mate, on one of your posts above naming some bad results this season saying the manager has to earn your trust.
Well it may be the past but the previous seasons fantastic achievements easily earn any sane or reasonable persons trust without question.
Since some of the disappointing results we have done ok, murdering Besiktas at home, progressing in the Carling cup, a creditible draw at Blackburn then a comfortable home win over Fulham followed by one of our most comfortable away wins in years, at a place that some thought we may drop points.
Either you are trying to be controversial or you actually do have your head up your erse.

spot on ciggy , those yanks should look at this track record . bloody fat Americans paupers , selfish and greedy tw@ts, if this was the case whr they wanted to keep their money , they should have never bought LFC.. Hope Rafa gets ovation win or lose against porto , we the fans , majority of us are behind him and thats all he needs , even the players are , masch , who will not commit his future to the club until rafa is confirmed to be staying . quality masch quality , he knows that rafa was the one that gave him his break in english football and respects him for that . my admiration for masch is tremendous and he has proved that by stating that
