Heres an idea to see how much he is worth to us, for every goal he gets we say that 1m, for every goal he set up we say that is 500k. add it all up at the end for this football year and see how much we should have spent on him.

Of course he wont score 54 goals to balance his account. He will be around 20-25 for sure if he plays every match.

I dont, although i dont think it will be as expensive, i think there will still be a 15 million-ish player.

Havent a clue who though, or for what position...just a hunch.

Doubt it I think Carra has just blew it on SSN he said something like "yer we will be competeting with the likes of Chelsea and the Mancs now in the transfer market with the new players we are bringing in.

Come on Sabre.... give the guy a chance he played up top on his own for a long time at AM acording to Rafa in the ECHO Rafa goes on to say that his passion for Liverpool was the main reason he tried to sign him he also goes on to say that there were many outher clubs who offered more but his first choice was always Liverpool. And he also goes on to say that his work rate in trainig is great and he will inprove greatly with better players around him.

If Rafa thinks so then i guess i do as well in Rafa i trust YNWA Bring on the new season.

All well and good, and i'm sure he'll be given every chance by our supporters. But passion, work rate, always wanted to join us…

I will support the lad as a Liverpool player he is, and I'll give him my standard share of patience -- plenty of patience.

I just wanted to chill down a bit the expectations, as we have the Morientes experience too close.

I think this kid is diffrent than Mori the main reason he failed in my eyes was he had hardly no pace to speak of but torres he has pace to burn i think he will do well.
