Some insight so that our guests are not lost. :D

The Scousers (habitantes de Liverpool) insult in a different way we Spaniards do. Wánker is a common insult (Pajillero, que se hace pajas) and often when a poster talks rubbish the rubbish is named wánk (lefa). The "Wonderful world of wánk" (El maravilloso mundo de la lefa) is a known topic here to describe all the false rumours that a classic poster here uses to write every time there's a transfer window. He comes every transfer window saying things like "Eto'o is coming or Henry's Deal is done". He gets all the false rumours from uncle Albert (tio Alberto) who's a worker in the Liverpool offices (es un currela de mantenimiento en las oficinas y se supone que obtiene la información de él, todo bola).

With this folklore explanation I hope you're not that lost  Try to avoid topics like overrotation (sobrerotación de jugadores), do not open an Alonso thread for a while (suelen ser polémicos), and be careful not to quote a hated newspaper "s*n". This paper is full of lies about Liverpool and their past, and any fan coming here should avoid to quote them at all costs (no citeis al diario sun, pues nos ofende a todos por sus mentiras, esto es IMPORTANTE).

Now, some questions, right to the point (al grano) for the atletico fans:

1) My main concern of Torres is that he's not a great finisher as far as I can tell. He creates a lot of danger with his pace (velocidad), dribbling (regate) and skill (calidad técnica) but he fails too much when he's on front of the keeer. An Atletico mate said that this season he's improved on this front. Do you lot agree?

2) Torres has been an icon and definitely the star of Atletico de Madrid this decade. Now he won't be the boss of the dressroom and the team won't work for him.

2.1) How do you think he would react under rotation? does he accept well to be sat down in the bench? I don't remember right now if he's been sat down in Atletico this seasons for coach decisssions. Do you think he would accept that? is he a disciplined player?

2.2) Would you consider Torres a bit of a diver? (un poco piscinero?). Be honest, please.

2.3) Some of you have said that in Atletico he hasn't found a proper partner to share the forward positions, the likes of Kezman and Aguero didn't seem to be a proper partnership. What would be in your opinion the abilities that should have a proper Forward partner  of Torres?  (qué características pensáis que debe tener el compañero arriba de Torres de manera que la dupla funcione?)

Thank you!!

Erm, if Torres scores a lot of hat tricks I can see that to be the thread of friendship.

If he does a Morientes though, well,  :D *cough*, I'm not so sure if the friendship would last long.  :D

Fernando Torres is a overvalued player. Is the worse forward of Spain.

Good joke. You can tell my another forwards who score at least 13 goals by year with 15 goals/year.

Sabre, in few minutes i will try to answer your questions. When LFC play the UEFA final against Alaves, I shouted the 5 goals. All the people saw me with bad face.

One thing more Sabre, would you can recomend me a good translator?

The thing is, Sabre, I know you're advocating caution of playing down the hype of Torres being a 20+ goal a season player for us. He may or may not be. What's relevent is that if he only scores 10 goals or a little more, it's the context or importance of these goals that matter. Say 5 of his goals are match deciders in games where it's looking to be a 0-0 stalemate. I know that is just stating the obvious, but if he's just getting on the score sheet after the likes of Gerrard and Kuyt are have already smacked in a few between them in games, then will his price and signing be equally justified? I know a goal is a goal, and so long as we win the game, it doesn't matter right? I'm just hoping he scores more vital ones than one's that just make the score look prettier.
