Certainly, half the team did worse than Zenden tonight.

I agree mate. Perhaps another option might have been better, but he wasn't in the 3 worst players list whatsoever, IMO.

Alonso had a shocker as did

Duk, watch the game again, and we'll discuss it. Thank you. I disagree.

Sabre Alonso was pi$$ poor tonight, Rafa should have hauled him off before 82 min.

I disagree with you their, he was worse than Zenden and on par with Arbeloa tonight.

THen Download the game where you know, watch it again, and we'll discuss.

I'll do the same thing. But he was one of the best IMO.

we didn't have any decent wing playat all! zenden sucked to the core...he lost possession, couldn't send in a decent cross...gerrard was drifting in...and arbeloa wasn't overlapping...Agger was quite bad too, couldn't handle drogba...and where was finnan?? I thought masherano wasn't too bad...bellamy and kuyt were too small for chelsea defence...I'd rather rafa plays gonzalez (yeah even gonzalez) instead of zenden...and crouch instead of bellamy...and recall hyppia just to guard drogba for the second leg...

Right!

Get this through your THICK F/UCK>ING sculls you stupid stupid people.

Bold Zenden is one of the worst players we have had at LIVERPOOL in the last decade. He is in the same boat as Diao, Traore, Cheyrou and Diouf. He isn't good enough to play at Scumchester United, Arsenol or Cheatski SO WHY IS HE GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY FOR US?  :no

NO, there was no one out there that played as bad as him tonight. Yes Bellamy, Arbeloa and Agger had poor games but they all pale in comparison to the waste of oxygen that is Zenden. His whole game was summed up in the 2nd half when he had almost a minute to cross the ball to Kuyt or Crouch which was then inexcusably closed down for a corner.

How he played 90mins is beyond me? Gonzalez maybe average but he would have put a better performance.

You know what the main problem is, like most teams they have players that can create a little bit of magic just at the right times, ie: Ronaldo, Kaka, Joe Cole, Lennon im sure you lot can think of more.

I think this is something we need to invest in.

The deal with Zenden was that he had so much ball, so much oppurtunity to set us up, and not once did he put a decent ball in, more often it went straight to a defender, there was no fizz on it, just floated in, what would that achieve?? yeah arbeloa, bellamy and Agger were poor, but that doesn't excuse Zendens ineptitude

Exactly. What would Ronaldo, J.Cole or even Giggs done with the amount of time and space on the ball. We whinge about Gonzo doing the old knock it ten yards and run. But Zenden can't do that he's to slow, so he goes back, or the defender just jockies him and Chelsea get all their players behind the ball.

How can that be ?

One of the best. He was one of the best at giving away possesion tonight and conceeding silly free-kicks that was about it.

Agger was too tight on Drogba for the goal

I cannot explain the obvious. Not now.

But since you ask it you'll have a full explanation tomorrow.

I disagree Sabre Alonso was poor so was Mascherno, the two of them had a bad game tonight Alonso being worst, otherwise he would not have been hauled off.
Maybe if Rafa didnt still feckin tinker with the squad in the only trophey we are still in maybe we woul;d have won.
Alonso's lack of pace caught us out tonight BUT Alonso plays better with Momo, they have established a relationship in midfield and Rafa has broken it up to be smart.
I suppose he will learn and when he does we will have the best manager ever on our hands.
But he hasnt learned yet, and this tinkering needs to be nipped in the bud.
Its not good for the team, its not good for us, less tinkering and more normality is needed from him.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
