I dont like all this confidence everyone seems to have, i prefer it when we feel like underdogs, because not only do the players perform better, it changes the atmosphere a bit.
We need to be far less confident and realise that Chelsea are a team that is more than capable of ending our dreams, and in both games, they have shown so many times that they could win in any game, i am really nervous.

That doesnt mean i dont think we can do it, we definately can, but i really hate all of the overconfidence, its dangerous imo.

What we need to do at Stamford Bridge is to make sure we're still in it when it goes to Anfield. Don't get beat 3-0 or even 2-0 for that matter. Defeat by the odd goal wouldn't be a brilliant result but it wouldn't be a disater either, particularly if we score a goal.

Agreed. I think he's been testing the 4-4-1-1 and probably will use it in Shítford bridge. Would you be happy with that or would preffer the formation against Wigan?

I've analysed the games in which we played the above formation and they really struggled to create chances, where as we still created danger. I'm confident we'll score away. It's very important.

1-0 is a score I hate. Because you can't live comfortably even if you get 2 at home. WE MUST SCORE.

Anyone know if Carvalho is fit ?
He missed the Newcastle game yesterday, if he isnt fit with Essien suspended that would leave them with Ferreria at centre back probably, something Crouch and or Kuyt would be very pleased about.

I have to agree with ace on this one.everyone is far to over confident.the last time i saw everyone so up for it we let 4 in at home. We always play much better imo as underdogs.

I reckon he will be, typical Maureen to cloud us in doubt.  :glare:

Your right mate it wouldn't go down as one of my more insightful posts would it   :D "Lets try and not lose 3-0." With observations like that they should give me Rafa's job.

While Chelsea are a better team (the table doesn't lie) I am beginning to really fancy this match. I think Chelsea are getting tired as so many big games and they are playing the same guys every game as they can't afford to rest them. Drawing at Newcastle will be a MASSIVE blow to their confidence as it was their first chance of getting the league back into their own hands and they might now have blown it.

LFC are fresh, no big games left in the league, can rest who we want, when we want. I think we'll win the tie.

Didn't realise  that, sorry. I use the proper names of all teams except for two, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Also Everton.

But what do you mean Leonmc? also when people use Neverton or Bluenoses and things like that?
