Stu you posted too early.  :D

I really wished Cheslea had beaten Newcastle yesterday. For two reasons, prefer them to win the league title as opposed to Man U and it might give them a false sense of security for wednesday's game.

Read an article on the weekend where they talked about the lack of noise coming out of the chelsea camp in the build up to this game. I don't really scan the papers for quotes from Jose, but it does seem that they are keeping pretty quiet about this one. This is ominous if you ask me.

They are going to take this one to us at Stamford Bridge. I would be very surprised if there weren't at least a couple of yellows or some nasty tackles.

Coooommmooon REDMEN!!!!

Well, we beat Barcelona at Nou Camp this CL season, why can't we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge then?
Don't know what you are laughing at.

What team do you think the not so special one is going to throw out for us to destroy, do you think Rafa tries to think about that before picking his squad in order to get ideal matchups or will he just put out what he thinks will be the best XI regardless

Im officially cacking myself now...when you stop and think about it, any result that sees Liverpool score will do for me right now. Even a 2:1 to them will do at a push.  0:0 will not be good for the old ticker again come 10 minutes left at home, with them going hell for leather and the prospect of Extra time and Pens to come the best bet  :sniffle

How in gods name that Gudjohnson shot went between Carra's knee and Drogbas' body just 18 inches outside the far stick...PHEW! its enough to bring on a cold sweat!. Mind you, whats the odds of having 6 or 7 minutes added time this time round referee  :glare:

I suppose the back four picks itself in Europe now:

Finnan - Carra - Agger - Arbeloa

But, what does everyone think about the rest?

Rafa  has gone for the 5 man midfiled lately with Gerrard in an advanced position.

I dont like that but I get a feeling he will do this on wednesday.

I think I'd prefer Momo in the middle at Chelsea, but Mascherano in the home leg.

0-0 at the bridge, Liverpool win a tight 1-0 at anfield. Once again the replays show that the ball did not cross line (and we all get to enjoy Moureen whinging for another year). :)

While I am at it we play Milan in the final. We will also have the pleasure of watching Cristiano cry like a baby when they get knocked out. :;):

I'd enjoy much more if we win 0-2 at Stamford bridge, 2-0 at Anfield, with beautiful goals that have definitely crossed the line and Mourinho has to admit reluctantly that LFC plays much better than them and we are entitled to be CL champion.
:D
As for the idea of Cristiano Ronaldo crying like a baby? I'd like to watch that with full pleasure.  :p  :rasp

Don't worry mate. As long as you're not talking about supporting Manure , Cheatski, or the bluesh.te...you're ok.
Welcome.  :)
