Rafa apparently reads football forums to see fans views and I seem to remember him making comments about these sort of things...

So IF YOU ARE READING RAFA!

ROBBIE FOWLER IS A LEGEND! You're doing no favours for yourself by treating the lad the way you are.

Fitness doesn't make a player and Fowler is a player. It was great to see him back last season and he looked quality at times still showing flashes of class which he has in abundance. Give him the last few league games so we can at least say a propper goodbye! Reds fans will have tears in there eyes when he leaves.

He's possibly Liverpool's most popular player ever and deserves a propper send off.

Now, I personally don't think he'll weaken our starting 11 over the other forwards. But if he did... so what?

I'm sure most real Liverpool fans would rather finish fourth and give Robbie a propper send off than finish third and never see him in a red shirt again... at the end of the day, theres no difference in third or fourth place, ya still aren't first and the qualification for the CL is the same.

So do the right thing...

Should have AT LEAST been on the bench today. Disappointing.

Sentiments are one thing, but priorities are another. While I am all for Robbie getting to play these last few matches, I would only say yes if it did not impact the team in any way. If we have nothing left to play for, then yes. But even if we seal a CL place, still there might be an impact to not having our top strikers play matches to keep their sharpness if we're still in the CL.

Though having said that, I would be among the first to cheer if I see Robbie's name on any starting line-up.

I've voted for the second one , Rafa himself would probably admit he's a tw@t , no room for sentiment i'm afraid. As much as i want to see Robbie playing ,Rafa will show no sentiment whatsoever stu , sad but true.

With the lack of goal threat Kuyt has shown lately I wouldnt see Robbie as a significant step down, and at least it would get the crowd going in these less glamorous games. Play Robbie !

Ive voted in favour of Robbie. For what this lad has done for the club, its the very least he deserves. To a club with the resources that this one has. 4th place is little different than 3rd. Besides, who's to say Fowlers inclusion wouldnt make the 3rd spot more likely.  ???  the fella is a finisher end of story.

I voted for 3rd.

Does the "basically you're a twat " refer to Stu, Rafa or the voter?

To be quite honest I can't believe anyone actually believes:

A. Fowler will weaken the first 11 and hinder our ability to score.
B. They'd fook him off to finish ahead of Arsenal which makes absoloutely no difference.
C. Third is going to make a significant difference as apose to fourth.
D. He's not worthy of a real send off.

At the end of the day, if anyone would rather us finish third and fuck Robbie off rather than giving him the respect and time on the pitch he deserves then I think you're a bunch of spineless bastards.

Stu i agree with you mate , but at the end of the day ,it doesn't matter what we think about team selection , as you well know managers make the difficult decisions , that's what there payed for.

Firstly i think it should be said that Robbie is and always will be a legend.

I agree with Stu especially now that no matter what,Bolton or Everton cannot beat us to a C/L spot.
I think it may be fair to say though that Fowler although not having many minutes on the pitch since his return has been good for our other strikers in training!

Raffa should give the lad the last 3 league games for Robbies pride and our memories!
It will be a sad day when Fowler leaves Anfield for good......Best player of a generation in a red shirt!

I voted none.

I think we can achieve both goals. Fowler did more than ok in the game against PSV, setting up a goal and everything. I think in games like today he could have minutes just like Zenden is having.

The point of the poll isn't about what will happen... its weather you think he should be playing. Its as simple as that.

there is a difference in finishing third and fourth. money! robbie will come on if needed and might play aswell. But, i voted for third and no sentiment. Robbie will get a send off whether he plays or not at the last game of the season.

Doesn't make anyone a t.w.a.t. stu. Let me put it this way. What if he didn't play until the end of the season. But! he came on against the mancs as a sub in athens and got a late winner or scored the winning penalty!

[/B]Which would you prefer? I'd prefer the dream and rafa being a :censored:.:p
