No I'd like them to beat PSV dramatically and build their hopes up first.

I'm all for football cruelty.

You can have United in the final, imagine that.........

The final will be during exams.  If we have em at Anfield I can go.

great result i just got in still bladdered but just wanna say how proud i am of the lads rafa an the fans an it was a great send off for moores.
but on a negative the last two games show what we are missing we have dominated two of the best teams in the world an got beat 1-0 both times we need a cutting edge to make that final leap, and the players to do that cost big money in most cases so lets get spending in the summer because with our already strong squad the best manager in the world and the best fans we have so much potential like ive said before.

hope this post makes sense as im realy struggling to see the keyboard :D

Obviously I wasnt there, but watching on tele, one of the main things that stuck out for me was a Barca fan -

There were 2 or 3 minutes left, his team was desperate for a goal, then you lot started the 'You'll Never....' thing with the scarves in the air, and the man was caught on camera fumbling for his camera to capture it.

I think that says a lot about your support.

Nice one, now batter the Goon filth in the next round.......

Alright mate wouldnt mind takin that Berbatov of your hands. :)

See, this is the problem when you get a decent player in a *swallows pride* second tier team. Straight away, rumours start and you wonder how long you can keep 'em.

Berbs is class, pure class, I just hope the club carries on growing with him.

His goal against the bluesh*te two weeks ago was incredible.  How many has he got this season now?  (Sorry to everyone, I know this is an LFC thread but...)

Seems a really good player.  Apart from one shot off the post for Leverkusen didn't do much against us, but we dominated them totally over two legs, so it's not suprising.

Off the top of my head, only about 15 or so, but you can double that with assists, and the thing is he took (domestically anyway) half a season to find his feet.

I'm pretty confident he'll stay with us for a bit, and who knows, if we can FINALLY get a decent run together, he might not want to go.

When we beat Levekusen away this year, and he scored, he was very respectful of their fans. That says to me he's not a show pony and has a bit of heart for what he is doing.

I'm at Liverpool Uni (you can guess why - I get to go to Anfield on nights like tonight), and one of my best mates up here is a Spurs fan - so I watch a lot of their games with him, and Berbatov has impressed me more than any other new arrival in the Premiership.  If you'd signed Shevechenko and Sh*tski had signed Berbatov I reckon the title race would still be on....

Anyway, I'm off to get even more smashed.  Good luck in the UEFA Cup, I'd love to see you lift it - although I've got a sneaky tenner on Benfica.

Although it was a good win, I am not going too crazy about it.

Best to remain cool and level-headed.

Poor corners and free-kicks and a lack of a clinical finisher still troubles me.

i hold my hands up, you deserved to go through over the 2 legs which, against them, is decent.

however, i must pull you up on your outlandish statement.

1.  2006.  fa cup.  you beat us 1-0 (first time in 85 years mind).  i seem to remember you were far from calm.

2.
Liverpool wins           draws    Manchester United wins
   League       49              43                     56
   FA Cup        3                4                       8
   League Cup  3                0                       1
   Other          2                3                       1
   Total         57              50                      66

Fact is, you have historically been our bogey team.

But rather than look at who won the most head-to-heads, try looking at who's won the most trophies. :;):
