Who cares about the poor finishing ( for now ) we are through and thats all that matters, lets just enjoy it and look forward to ANYONE in the next round.

How people can post on here while a match like that is on is beyond me, ive got 3 cups of cold tea on the table cos i wouldnt take my eyes of the tv for a second not even to have a sip :D .

Chelsea had their usual bit of luck i see !!

Im not even going to go into the fine details of the match tonight im going to sit back and enjoy it for what it was a brilliant game and one which we deserved to win....time for a cup of tea

Fantastic performance. Kuyt and Carragher were particulalry brilliant. Still feel that we do need to start finishing games off but hopefully our luck will turn soon. Walk on my friends, walk on :)

One time, I saw a man looking at me, yes, with his eyes. And then, he, he picked up a tube. And he looked, in the tube, and he made the moon big, inside the tube. The moon big inside a tube! Waahaha... Aaah. Telescope.

Words failed me when Crouch missed that chance I mean, HOW.

Great night nevertheless and the 1st half was a brilliant performance. We took our foot off the pedal 2nd half and they started to :censored: all over us at the start but Carra was immense once again.

Great game by Carra and Agger. Agger is maturing into a great central defender. Good match by Riise and Stevie as well. Kuyt was his usual self - running all over the place, just doesn't seem much of a dribbler. I want to see him take the ball, drive into the box and fire in a few shots - on 27 minutes he had a good chance to do that and he held the ball up! Good player though - definitely a keeper for next season. Bellamy had a solid game tonight as well, pain in the :censored: for defenders.

Pennant - feckin' useless sub - cant pick up the pace of a game at all. When he pressed their midfield it was half-hearted, got booked and was at fault defensively for the goal - I don't think he's going to make it at the Pool.

Alonso - superb, Sissoko also.

Well done the reds - bring on the next round!

We controlled the match and should have been 2 or 3 goals up before Barca scored. You could see our players tire in the second half. Momo, Riise and Kuyt especially as they had run their socks off.Momo should have come off before Bellamy as he was struggling and Mascherano would have been perfect to fill in. Bringing Pennant on allowed Gerrard to move into the middle but with players tiring we needed another outlet once Bellamy had gone.

I thought Alonso, Carra and Finnan were outstanding tonight, Gerrard was a bit below par but became our only real threat second half.

Great to progress but I am a little upset that we have played great the last couple of games and lost, without getting the goals and results our play warrented.

YYYYeeeeesssssss!!!!!

Have to admit that the last fifteen minutes or so were a bit nervewracking (now where did I put my grecian 2000? :D ) but we're through and that's the main thing.

It's a pity someone (Xabi preferably) didn't :censored: Gud-diver,that would have made the night complete, still better luck next year Eidur!
