Btw Riise has confirmed what we've known all along, he's . Average at best.
Bit harsh there A.B mate, Riise has provided decent stuff regularly, and you perfectly know it's difficult to give your best when 5-6 new players play suddenly together.

Bullsh!t. He gifted Ilic the goal and he has been poor for most of this season. He provides nothing when going forward, and he's shambles at defending.
However people often forget that because he scores good goals from time to time.
Him being poor has nothing to do with the youngsters playing tonight.
His Liverpool career has been inconsistant. One year he's decent the next he's
. He was a weak link at the back last season when we had a good back four, and he's still a weak link now.

I put it down to Riise,Peltier and Paletta beeing patheticaly poor. Paletta is young so he'll improve and he's had better games than Peltier but Riise has no execuses.
Absolutely

poor.
Something tells me that your not happy with Riise

Damn right. Every time he's marking a man he leaves tons of space for the opposing player to get a cross in.
Which is why we conceded the first goal against Arsenal a few weeks back.
Lando mentioned something interesting the other day regarding Hyypia's exposure. It's often that he is exposed because Riise is a tit when it comes to defending and it's true.

And? Luis Garcia has scored winning goals as well but he isn't the best player in the world and he sure as hell shouldn't start week in and week out.
Ciise has scored fantastic goals in his career but he isn't a fantastic player.

I'll comment the game when I watch it properly and if it's a mistake I'll admit it of course! But Riise is much more than occasional goals mate, he goes forward in latter minutes when many oposition players are tired -stamina- he does a remarkable job in the throw ins, which is often ignored but it's a tactical resource as any other and he's not cráp defending, quite complete player IMHO, but that's just me!
