Real madrid have told michael owen that he has to put up with the being a squad player. I listened to a phone in today from the spanish sky sports reporter and he has indicated that michael owen will leave this summer if the right offer comes. After stevie staying this week and rafa saying he wants to build a team around him & carra could michael owen be heading back to anfield this summer or is it a bad move, a move in the wrong direction

thanks first post

If Owen wants to play for us - I mean properly committed, not like his last season here, then it would be an excellent move, except for the fact we can't accomodate so many strikers. We'd have to sell Baros to make it worth it

can see this one happening i reckon, and i for one wouldnt be against it. he never hid that he would want to play abroad one day,and didnt leave for free. he may have realised the best place for him is at a team on the up in a place near his family.

if we got a clause as has been rumoured on a 9 million buy back fee i feel this would be great business.

one question owen for 9, crouch for 7 or kuyt for 10?
cut me and i bleed red

It's almost certain that Chelski will come in as they r looking for a striker.

I would rather go for Dirk Kuyt.
