My team to start the game:

Gerrard  Sissoko  Alonso  Gonzalez

           Kuyt  Garcia

SUBS: Dudek, Bellamy, Crouch, Zenden, Aurelio, Hyypia, Pennant.

Although I highly doubt that Rafa would put such a line up due to the heavily used rotation system, I really hope this would happen. We seem to have attained our fluidity in the second half  against Spurs and surely it is worth a shot with a similar line up. Garcia replaces Bellamy as perhaps Garcia's trickery would offer more in continental matches, while Carragher should step in for Hyypia, in what is an obvious replacement. Realistically, we might see Crouch or even Fowler in for Kuyt.

One thing I would like to see us do less is ambitious long balls, many times it ends up no where, when there are better options for Alonso in the first place. I would also like to see Gonzo run more at full backs as we seriously saw signs of him ripping Spurs' defence apart that day.

Pretty much straight forward I guess. Carra is obvious to come.
Gonzo to run at full back just like he did in the 2nd half against spurs. Garcia to come as a sub for Kuyt/Crouch/Gonzo.

I fully expect Rafa to continue his rotation policy and I am sure he will have one eye on the weekend fixture at Bolton, which is a very hard away game to come away with the 3 points, which again I am sure he wants to do. He likes his team to be physical against Bolton as he knows they will "rough us up", so he likes to match them man for man. With having such a hard fixture at the weekend, I'm sure he will rotate a bit  in this game in what should be a easy 3 pointer. Thats no disrespect to Galatasaray, but there not the same team they were 5- 10 years ago.

  I believe Rafa will change his front line completely for the visit of Galatasaray, as Kuyt and Bellamy will more than likely start against Bolton. I have a feeling Rafa will revert to his 4 - 5 - 1 formation on Wednesday. 
I expect  " Little Luis" to start on Wednesday in the hole behind the striker, as he is more suited to the Champions League and is not physically imposing. He has been very valuable to us in the Champions League and when he came on Saturday, he looked very clever and sharp.
  I think Crouch will fufill the only striker place up for grabs, as he has not started for the last 4 games and he is so good at holding the ball up. He will be something different to the Galatasaray defence and I fully expect Crouchy to get back on the score sheet after a woeful performance in the derby.
 

The back four picks itself at the moment, I expect Agger to start again with Carra coming in for Sami. With Finnan and Riise getting the nod. It would seem that the only position up for grabs at the moment in midfield is the left wing, as although Gonzo scored, he was not that impressive against Spurs. I think we will see him start though, as Bolton away does not seem like his type of game.

  And shock horror, I have a sneaky feeling Rafa will put Xabi on the bench and start Zenden in the middle with Sissoko and Gerrard on the right. I know a lot of people on here aren't fans of Bolo, but I feel people are being a bit harsh to judge him on a few games. The ill feeling I believe is mainly down to his poor performance in the opening fixture against Sheffield United. However in pre season and in the Community Shield especially, he was first rate in the middle of the park. He needs time on the ball ,which Chelsea gave him and he was our best player first half. Give the lad a chance I'm sure Rafa will. He will start here as its CL and he will get the time on the ball that he needs and I expect him to deliever a first class performance and win some of the doubters over.

dont think bellamy will be dropped, as he needs to bag some goals and pick up some confidence, and garcia looked great after he came on yesterday. momo surely has to have a rest under rafas rotation policy. hopefully see crouch at some point and maybe aurellio and zenden to get a run at some stage,will give kuyt and momo a rest before an important away game at bolton next sat.
