LIVERPOOL VS NEWCASTLE - The season starts here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

you know what, i'd play Bellamy for the simple reason that its Newcastle.  He no doubt feels he has something to prove and (as long as he keeps his head) i could see him doing the business against them tonight.

No news on Riise probably be back next week against Gala?
Im so nervous about tonight, anything else than 3 points will be a major dissapiontment, they team has improved since Rafa took charge, think Crouch will get his place back tonight, Crouch and Kuyt would be great.
And I hope Gonzales is better now and he plays, and we give the Toon army a headache plus a mauling.

Agreed, I think Gonzo should be given the nod ahead of tonights game.

He is still much better than Aurelio and Warnock IMO.

I think Rafa will change the team and formation again tonight. I believe he will go for a 3-5-2 with Gerrard playing an advanced Centre Mid role off of Crouch and Bellamy!

Think Crouch will start up top, not sure whether it will be Kuyt or Bellamy to partner him though.  I think Garcia and Gerrard will play on the wings.

Should be a good battle between Sissoko and Parker!

i believe there could be a case for trying bellamy on the left flank..hell, everyone and his dog has had a go...so why not him.

pace and direction, with an eye for a shot and a good brain in and around the channels/box. could at least be worth a shout.

a bit of va va voom!  :D

BBC seem to think, and I tend to agree, that Sissoko will be rested due to the number of games he has played recently. I'd like to see the Kuyt / Bellamy partnership develop more.

Any win is good tonight. Especially as its worth £30 to me. So come on you red men.
