Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Apparently he is going to meet with, soon to be named manager, Benitez in the next week or so and discuss a new contract.

and you can confirm Benitez has signed?

I know he won't quit a successful side without a contract in his pocket and he is coming to Anfield but we have not heard it officially...yet!

He has stated publically that he will sign another contract, regardless, cus he does not want to leave LFC the way macmanawank did.

But this thread, and your so called evidence are fiction.

I believe you. I was only half joking when I question your source for this information. Benitez is already heading to Anfield. It is not our style to announce Benitez as our new manager while he is still serving his 15 days notice period with Valencia. Owen will sign an extension to his contract now that the manager selection has been sorted. IMO I think he wanted to make sure the board took action on GH and he use his contract to force the issue.
