Summer gucci sales! - Italian clubs poss relegated

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It's incredibly frustrating actually. There's clearly going to be massive movement from all of the teams involved, but the pick of the bunch will inevitably end up in Madrid.

Shame - a lot of players will be up for grabs that would benefit us enormously. Times like this that the reality dawns that however big a club we are, we just can't compete financially.

The whole situation is fascninating, as im sure you all know.

Pavel nedved?  why not!

Inter are supposebly signing either trezeguet, ibrahimovich or toni from fiorentina, but thats not a huge loss to us.

Cannavaro is the one we want, although' ive heard Man Utd have put in an offer. im sure rafa is watching the situation.

I dont fancy too many players fro Juve to be honest.  Del piero is too old, and will prob stay in italy any at 31.

I say

Nedved or Cannavaro, although expect heavy bidding in the auction!

I think Canaravo wil join Capello at Real but wont be cheap at all.  Juve are going to start the season on -30.  They are in no position to let there talent go as they need to win promotion and with a 30 points deficit this will be even more difficult.

aparrently nedved said he will retire if relegated (hearsay).

anyway, juve to start with -30 might as well relegated them to serie c.

lol.

i think del piero will do a batistuta and stay with juve.

manure, with their problems in midfield, may actually get Patrick Vieira.

As for us, I don't fancy too many of Juve's players as the best would surely go to Madrid to join Capello. The 2 best ones are Buffon and Cannavaro. We already have a good 'keeper and Cannavaro looks likely to go to Madrid. I don't fancy Ibrahamovic as he lacks heart and passion to do much when his team are down and that would rule him out as a player who Rafa would really want. Trezeguet may be suitable for us and perhaps Nedved. Others like Cramonesi will not actually offer that much more than the players in his position that we aleady have.

Cannavaro? Gimme a break! We already have Carra, Hyypia, Agger and Paletta, so we're already well covered in the CB area. What we need is a right winger and maybe a striker. We're not Chelski, we do not have the ridiculous funds to build sandcastles in the air!

Adrian Mutu must be the most unlucky player on the planet - fails a drugs test, goes to Juve, then to Fiorentina who both end up relegated. :D

As for which teams to be promoted im assuming the ones which finished highest but obviously didnt get promoted last year.

exactly what I heard.

I wonder why Milan probably aren't going down as well? Maybe their crimes weren't as bad as Juve or others.

Some say that Galliani(Milan) was more aware of exactly what was going on compared to Moggi and the other bosses and many are saying that Milan got away with it.

However the Milan person who was known to be meeting with refs wasnt fully employed by the club itself directly. This loophole allowed them to escape harsh punishment.

But they will still have points docked and athey are out of next years Champions league.

Now in regards to players I can see the biggest ones following Cappelo to Madrid but I im sure there are one or 2 player Rafa has his eyes on in the other 3 clubs. It will be interesting to see who moves where over the next few days as I think the dealdline in approaching for entering players in the initial round of the Champions league qualifier.

Fiorentina has a striker who have a more than a decent chance of doing well in the EPL as he is not a typical Italian-esqe striker. He heads well and holds up the ball well. He also top scored in Serie A last season. Luca Toni, but perhaps he'd been approached by the likes of Inter by now.
