I think this whole Referee situation is largely due to FIFA and the way they have told referees to use such strict interpretations of the laws. Graham Poll never refs like he did last night in the Premiership.

FIFA is putting too much pressure on referees to make harsh decision and give yellow cards for every minor indiscrepancy, it's a damn shame.
