CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE VS BITTERBLUES - all the build up here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

There are no people in the entire world as delusional as Evertonians. I don't know what it is. But take Manc fans - if you asked them to take Alonso or Keiran Richardson in centre midfield, they hate us but they'd all take Alonso at a shot, and recognise he's a great player and Richardson isn't.

Evertonians on the other hand would tell you Alonso is sh#te, Richardson should be playing for England in centre midfield and it's only red driven media agendas that stop him. And the thing is they'd actually believe it.

Read the article trying to inspire the return of the friendly derbies, I think that the shower in red across the park and the Echo themselves should take a long hard look at themselves. The reason that these matches are now so volitile is that you would think there is only one team in this city, the bias towards them is unbelievable, proven with the campain to get them into the champions league when then didn't qualify, thus taking the rewards and pleasure away from everton fans.

Even after they take a sound beating when getting knocked out you the echo instead of reporting this come up with the headline regarding there fans at the match and how they are the best in the world...yawns...the incident with the missile throwing and the attack on the ambulance would have gone unoticed only for small murmours spreading. I for one hope the derby remains as it is and don't care what the echo of lfc (small letters) think, all evertonians are now waiting for the sh.ite to finish fourth and arsenal to win the big one for you lot to start your moaning and get the rules changed once again in their favour.

Seriously you just could'nt make up this sh.ite could you? How pathetic the F.A. done them a bloody favour by not throwing them into the UEFA Cup after we won the bloody thing ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :veryangry

TBH this argument from Everton is rubbish. The Champions of any competition should always be allowed to defend their trophy. How does 4th place warrant qualification over a team who just won the fkn competition? It's ridiculous.

I am also against the idea of the winners of the world cup having to qualify. One day we may see a World cup when the defending champions are not there, and that would be a major let down. If Argentina or Brazil win it, it's probably not going to be a problem, but if a decent European side won it and their qualifying group next time round contained some decent sides, it could be a problem.

Not sure how the European Championships work, but if it's like the World Cup then my suspicion is Greece won't be defending their trophy in 2008.

There is no argument Scott, what this bluenose wanted to really say was LIVERPOOL.F.C. HOW DARE YOU STEAL OUR THUNDER FOR FINISHING 4TH nothing to do with the echo, we are just a poison eating away at them.

Exactly, It riles them that their best achievement since winning the FA Cup against United over a decade ago was outdone by us. Also they finally finished above us after so long, and in the end it didn't matter at all.

The phrase "Forever In Our Shadow" never seemed more apt tbh.

Dear very bitter red brothers,

I've got a cracking new flag for Saturday

"We may never know your success,
We'll never know your shame"

Good isn't it!!

My tickets on the kop though, do u think I'll be okay, friendly derby n'all??
Dont want to take it in the Anny Road in case someone throws sh-te all over it

"[color=red]its amazing how oots hate the blues so much... calling our relatives and friends b@stards coz they support another local team :no
Calling my brother or dad names is like insulting me too... thats the irony of it all.. they're having a laugh at all liverpoodians.

Remember the victory parade last year?there were people dressed up in the everton blue celebrating with us.
Were the mancs and the london blue shit that enthusiastic about our win?

Reserve your hate for the mancs and the chelkis b@stards you wool "

Last year some of them bought AC MILAN tops for the final. I hate them as much as the scum and hope they get relegated asap.

Thats a load of Baloney.

Whenever we play these, we totally outclass them in terms of play, passing, posession and chances.

If we play the midfield of Riise, Alonso Sissoko and Gerrard, then the Everton Strikeforce wont even get a sniff of a chance. they'll be far more concentrating on defending.
